It shot through the bottom and then then through the side of the can, and it also shot through the top when I tried. So this pretty much has to be the advanced cylinder right?
I disagree completely with Nshadow. In my (admittedly unprofessional) testing, I was unable to find a difference in accuracy between the Deep Fire 6.02 barrel and the stock barrel of a Well MB03 at 100 and 150 feet.
I think the entertaining value of all these mystery boxes from evike, gi, trinity worth something too, dont you think haha.
If there are 3 opponents with their sights just waiting for you, how do you know where they are? You look. The point of the blind-fire rule is that you know what you're shooting. They can sue you even if you are looking and you shoot their eye, tooth, or just leave a little mark. All they need to say is "He was shooting me with an airsoft gun". It doesn't make to much of a difference if he says "He was shooting me with an airsoft gun and wasn't looking".
What if someone breaks the rules and removes his mask to wipe, and you hit him in the eye? Sure, what he did was stupid, but what you did compounded on that, and now he can't see out of an eye. I'd also like to point out that the person can sue you for shooting their eye out. It may have been accidental, but it is considered reckless endangerment especially if that happens.
If you cannot personally account for every single one of your shots, you place EVERYONE at risk.
The hardest part (when I owned a TSD m14) was taking apart the rear sight, allowing the clamshell body to come apart. The screws stripped on mine, so I had to use other means to remove the back sightI had to cut around mine. Back in the old days when me and my friends all had springers I teflon taped my M14 and fitted a Bar-10 barrel in it with a new bucking. It could easily hit targets past 160 feet.
Also, all plastic internals, so not much upgrade potential. What I would recommend if your friend is crafty is to find and cover up all air leaks, using the teflon or E-tape mod (easily found in snipers perch). And if you really know what your doing, possibly retrofitting an AEG or VSR hop-up unit in the M14, because in my experience the stock hop-up was good for a springer, but could be better if it was metal and had better tolerances.
