Gear and Loadouts / Re: Personal Loadouts (Version 2.0) [ONLY PICTURES]
« on: August 05, 2011, 04:45:16 PM »
Just a really generic thing I run at indoors games. The holster doesn't usually sag that much when I'm actually playing, I was just lazy and hungover taking the picture.

Clothing/Gear / Re: Are there any replicas of the FSBE AAV still made?
« on: January 10, 2011, 06:47:48 PM »
Yeah, I was looking at WGC/UN for the (black) one G&P/Guarder make, which is why I asked if any were still produced. Lame that they aren't, double lame at it sounding like the ebb ones won't even fit me at 6'1 160.

Other than the ones on EbayBanned? Fine text says they're for people 5'5 to 5'8, but unfortunately, I'm 6'1.

Clothing/Gear / Night game loadouts.
« on: November 24, 2010, 12:29:31 PM »
Okay, so, here's the dealio. I'm going to my first night op the first weekend in December, and I'm wondering what I should be rocking, and if I'm forgetting anything. As of right now, my (night) loadout consists of a 5.11 Tactical Fleece under some woodland BDUs and an ALICE rig for my pistol, which is actually probably going to be my primary source of illumination, as that is the only light I'm going to have on me. I have an RK104 as well, but that won't get much use, I don't think, because I figure that the essentials to night games are staying mobile and quiet. Magazine wise, I'm not even bothering with AK magazines in pouches, just a pair of jungle taped magazines in the gun.

Tell me, how solid is this idea.

Clothing/Gear / Motorola EM1000R and PTTs.
« on: October 28, 2010, 09:22:55 PM »
http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-TalkAbout-EM1000R-20-Mile-22-Channel/dp/B0014DVIL2/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1288318544&sr=1-1

Me and my friend are splitting those. We want to get some sort of headset to go with that, and on EBB, there are some headsets with military plugs. Now, obviously we need a PTT to go from the military plug to the radio. Would these need Motorola Single Pin or Two Pins? I've seen one pin on the internet, but I'd rather somebody with experience fill me in. Thanks.

Where'd you find one for $85?

USPs just look naked without some sort of light under them. Like you get to work, and you realize you left your pants back at home.

I need to get a light for my USP, and I'd rather not get a rail adapter/light combo that says FULL SIZE FLAME. Because that would look ugly. Does a copy of the M2 UTL which is designed to clamp on to the USP rail exist?

Clothing/Gear / Re: Need opinions on customizing a helmet.
« on: August 06, 2010, 04:34:56 PM »
You can also buy a Protec A-alpha then customize from there. It has a good chin strap and they will add velcro and/or a side rail if you want as well as pre-drilling for NVG mounts. I have one in OD, but will probably be painting it soon. Here is mine:

So where did you pick up your A-Alpha? I've heard that the PT website has awful customer service, so I'm a bit wary of ordering from there.

Do you think it would be possible to go a bit more in depth into how you went about it?

Awesome looking G3.

10
And by G3 I mean G&G FS51 and by MP5SD foregrip I mean the one from a non-functioning CA MP5SD. Is it possible, and if yes, how much would the dimensions be off?

I would never spend less than $90 on boots. They're the most important piece of kit you can own.

This is still a massive predicament.

Massive.

Gas Discussion / Re: Whatever happened to the KWA NS2 CZ75?

http://www.gamesfantasy.com/kz75ns2.html

http://www.airsofttitan.com/kz75ns2.html

Judging by the website addresses, these appear to be the same company trading under a number of different names.  No sure how reliable--but there's the pistol in question...

I'd rather wait until someone with a good rep has them in stock, which doesn't seem to have happened yet.

It's actually out I think, unless I'm mistaking it for the Marushin Shell Ejection CZ75.

I believe you are, as Marushin isn't exactly what KWA stands for.

In one of their brochures, they mentioned a CZ75 on the NS2 system, but I haven't heard any news about it since. Did they cancel it, or is it still on track for a release one of these days?

Don't drag this thread in to ridiculous hypotheticals & arguments. Keep it practical & realistic or i will shut it down.

This is the only thread I've seen with news about this, and as I am getting screwed over, I'd quite like it open for updates.

Clothing/Gear / Full size USP magazine pouches. Do any exist?
« on: August 10, 2009, 05:30:45 PM »
I am a man with a problem. I can't seem to find a magazine pouch that fits a double stack 45ACP magazine. I've tried some Emdom USA 6o4 multi pistol mag pouches ( http://prostores2.carrierzone.com/servlet/emdomusa/Detail?no=31 ) hoping that they could fit more than one double stack per slot, but it just isn't so. I can only squeeze one magazine in. Does anybody make a pistol pouch that fits more than one double stack 45ACP magazine in them, or am I completely out of luck and in need of a bunch of magazine pouches for my magazines?

Gas Discussion / Re: KWA/KSC M11A1 Magazine compatability
« on: August 09, 2009, 10:26:19 AM »
KWA is really pissing me off constantly coming out with newer versions, it makes me not want to invest in them. Especially when there is no cross comparability. They should at least have some kind of old m11 trade in value or something.

Yes, they should stop innovating. What terrible people making their stuff better after a long period of inactivity. Asking for the trade in value is like saying "I bought the 2004 model of the car, I should get the 2009 one free!"

Does anyone know if this means you can't buy accessories in NYS anymore? IE, mags, gearboxes, receivers, furniture, barrel, motor, or just guns that are evil black.

They aren't backwards compatible.

*Facepalm*

What just happened.

Some schmuck decided to do a nice little suicide by cop number with an airsoft gun.

*** **** it.

Great, just what we need...  Time to paint our guns bright florescent pink to stay legal.  Goes to show how one idiot can ruin everything.  New York is neighbor to my state... Hopefully this won't go haywire and turn into an anti-airsoft spree.

From what I'm understanding, you just can't buy black guns. OD, tan, and what not are cool, though.

Plus you can just buy from out of state.

Clothing/Gear / Re: How to clean a vest?
« on: August 04, 2009, 06:41:03 PM »
A. I am afraid to ask you about your underwear.
B. I have already said several times that there is NO dirt on it.
C. It smells like sweat and needs a good cleaning.
D. There's bacteria on it.  I've already gotten sick from it once, and I'd rather not again.

You're right you caught me I don't wash my underwear because, like a plate carrier, I rarely wear them and getting them dirty is half the fun.

Why bother cleaning it? Dirt and tears add character.

Awesome. Whats the best way to put it on? dab a little on a q-tip and rub it in?
