Maybe he wants to make an uber-cool design?

I love how instead of "safe" "semi" and "auto" you put "life" "mercy" and "death"

Lol I didn't notice that at first cuz I didn't scroll over the entire picture. That's awesome.

I remember last year on Arpil fools how Snicker sold / merged AS-R.  The re-directs and posts were very convincing...I fell into that gag!

Good fun...

Damn, I haven't been here that long, but that one does sound way more elaborate and significant than this years joke.

And a double post by the same user a few comments up.

^ Holy mother of tactical paint-jobs O-o...

Nice XM!  Of course you had to top everyone xD

I'm not so much fascinated by the paintjob as I am by the appearance of the gun itself. Just downright sexy.

6
I've never been one for AUGs and definately not one for digital camo but that thing is just beautiful.

I have a duct tape knife!! I've actually gotten a kill by throwing it at one of my friends when he went out of cover and didnt see me! I just got a pencil and wrapped duct tape around it for a handle, then layed it long-ways on both sides of the pencil and cut it to look like a knife.

I am so going to do that. That's awesome. I might use some electrical tape on the outside layer of the handle too to make it look more realistic and it'll have that rubber feel.

I'm tempted to buy it and paint it black and gray so it can look badass.

Nice job nate, that's the kind of look that I usually go for whenever I do mine. Although it doesn't always turn out that way :P

a new low SP BAR-10 / PDI Build.  I want a tribal camo job "in plans" something different, edgy, cool, effective.  That is my plan.  I just have to wait for my tax return... :-[

Nice, I've never really cared for tribal jobs myself unless they're a little faded and blended. To each his own though.

How does that mean he plays MW2?

My thoughts also. It's not like playing a videogame is the only way to know what a gun is named?
i think that you guys should go with the G90-A1 or even just G90. if you dont like that how about the G18

G90 just makes me think of the P90 when I hear it (kind of like the E90 you know?)

12
I love the tribal jobs, I think I will do it with my new build.

What new build are you plannin on marine?

How about names like G5 - Forte, Wraith, Dragoon, Piercer, Zealot, Goliath, Colossal, Stinger

I'm guessing you've played starcraft before haven't you?

As for series names I'm drawing a blank right now but I just have to add this in on the specific gun names: El Conquistador (The conquerer).

no one in town sells the flat clear. but as soon as I can find some I will. I have ACE, Dorn, MENARDS no one even knows what im talking about.

I think my ACE has some, but then again it probably varies a bit town to town.

I have the GR16 plastica and I'm very pleased with it compared to JG's and other MPEGs (considering some of them cost more than my gun). If anything I'd say G&G doesn't get enough credit sometimes.

As for names, I like the peacemaker but I think it should be saved for a pre-upgraded sniper rifle. That'd be badass. Anyways, G5-Tomahawk, Pathmaker, Newb Pwner, Extinction, Excalibur, Roscilisce (ros-uh-liss)?

16
That's probably one of the few paintjobs on M14's that I approve of.

Very nice, seems like almost everyone just gets the OD L96 and leaves it OD, they're so much prettier in tan. :P

I hate tan. But then again it doesn't go well with my terrain. And to think of it I don't like plain OD either really.

Hope to get some pics up of my GR16 here sometime this week. I dry brushed it to try to give it a worn look since I was bored. Worked out pretty good but there was a couple spots where my hand slipped and I got some ugly marks in the plain open. I think I'm gonna try to take a light grit sandpaper and try to take those off. If I got any white crayons here too I might fill in the trades.

Been off the forums for a few months.. had a lot of things going on and just not enough time to worry about it.

After Sgt. Tyler Juden's funeral, his cousin decided to start something called The Tyler Project. It's goal is to inform people about the war and to send care packages to troops currently placed in the middle east. For apparent reasons, it hasn't accomplished much yet, but it's a good effort for a little kid. I encourage all of you to spread word and hopefully someday it might be a big thing.

This is her speech for the launching of the program:

And immediately following her speech they played the following video. I think all of you will appreciate what it stands for.

- Ghillie suit. Homemade and took forever, but it was worth every minute.

- G&G GR16 Plastica. Definately think this gun doesn't get enough hype. For an all-around good gun, this is the best you'll find for under $200 IMO. As accurate as my UTG L96 (which I love, but isn't too great, it's not upgraded).

- Crosman C11 Airmag. As much as Crosman stuff sucks, this is definately incredible. CO2 powered NBB pistol, holds about 13rds. Not amazingly accurate, but it gets the job done for a secondary. Light enough for anyone. Had to paint it, since it's still a Crosman, it was clear. Can last a full day of airsofting on one cartridge usually (15ct pack for ~$11).

Everyone here is going to miss you Tyler.

Flags were flown at halfstaff state-wide. He returned on Monday, Sept. 21st and the service was at 2pm the next day. The school district closed school early so everyone could go. And on top of that they wouldn't be able to find enough substitutes. I don't know what it's like in bigger cities, but that was definately the biggest service I'd ever seen. Several hundred Patriot Gaurd and over 2,000 people attended.

I've realized what you guys do for our country, but I don't think it really sunk it for me to understand it untill now. I can't express in words how I feel towards you guys.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: What do you do to prepare for a game?

Since most of my stuff is altogether, if I remembered everything, I could probably toss it all together in 10 minutes minus charging time, loading all the ammo (which I usually do beforehand), and tweaking with my ghillie a little.

However my memory sucks ass, so I get it all together on Wednesday or Thursday and remember little things each day that I forgot to pack. And sometimes I still manage to forget my little, probably meaningless things like my pocket knife, duct tape (never know when it might come in handy), and things like that.

I don't believe that I said I wanted a rail. You don't need to worry, I can shoot plenty good with open sights. My comment was in regards to this abomination. http://rsov.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=3658

I could be wrong and it could just be my lack of trust for practically any manufacterer of ANYTHING, but I fail to see differences in those two guns other than price, top rail, and front sight. The box it came in, cocking action, and everything else looked identical to me?

If I were to decide, I think it's the same one with a few changes.

Wow, seriously guys. You hold onto the clip...

Very beautiful gun though. I really could use a WWII replica.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about the hand you pull the trigger with....

Watch the language, and this thread is for talking about paintjobs, not add-ons.

Calm down? All he said was "damn" and it's not like he was using it to cuss someone out or anything. But that was a fairly pointless post. But I'm sure his stock is just filled with goodies.

I'm going to have to go back over my plastica with some flat black. I still haven't found out if paint stripper will damage the plastic, so I don't want to chance it. I'll just have to be a little more careful this time. Last time I picked it up before it had fully dried, so I left thumbprints in it...

I'm liking it cross. Only one thing I noticed, and it isn't a major thing.

Looks a little layer-ee. Lol. In the first picture, the burlap in each row are cut exactly the same. Not anything that's going to mess you up, just looked kind of wierd to me. When I did mine, I cut the burlap at an angle.
