Clothing/Gear / Re: What's a decent price for a metal Norotos replica?
« on: February 23, 2010, 08:52:13 PM »
Dude, EBB has them for 23 bucks shipped, lol.

I obviously did not read, that replica is a 3 point, but, that's what MFR mostly used anyways, Rangers pretty much use the 1 point.

ShortStock, though I like your loadouts, I really can't escape the air of arrogance and over confidence that eminate from all your photos. Your narcisstic, hard-guy attitude really just kind of ruins it. Airsoft is fun. No need for a badass contractor school. It bothers me when people play like they're the real deal.

V.S, I usually never comment on peoples load outs on this thread due to the tremendous amounts of douchebaggery... but yours is something special. I must warn you, I've sent that to at least 10 people on various social networks because of how absolutely retarded those two pictures looked. You've provided myself and a few good friends copious amounts of laughs and facepalms. You could have at least blurred out your face. I hope to god you don't skirmish like that, because I swear if I see a kid like yourself in one of my games I might just quit airsoft... and I work at a airsoft field.

Oh and nice gun paynee. Pretty badass.

The tremendous amounts of douchebaggery being your own snide, asinine comments? Get off the guys case and stop being a ****. I hope you run into him on the field that way "you might just quit airsoft". Nobody's asking you for your opinion on his appearance, just his gear. Sorry we can't all be as cool and hard as you, Short Stock. May I point out, your own stupid myspace style pictures and self described airsoft prowess make you seem like even more of an idiot than V.S.

Go troll somewhere else.

Looks awesome Sniperpigeon. Pouch up that rig and get some DCU pants and you're looking dead on. The blaster could use some work, but whatever fits your preference.

Wow AEG Dude, that's a sick score. Very jealous. Let's see the kit!

Woah, haven't posted a kit in a while. Nice loadouts everyone! I'll have pics from my last op up soon. Imagine a Chevy Silverado crew cab with with the cab windows replaced with M249's and an extra tall bed cover to mimic a light attack/transport helo. Now, imagine me hanging out the (removed) passanger side door blasting away with a mounted A&K Mk 43. Win.

Look, there is some ass hatt-ery going on, which isn't cool, but still, SOP, it's not about the freaking SCAR. I don't care if it used, your kit is NOT MARSOC. That's not a bad thing, nobody gives a ****, my kit doesn't look like anything, do I care? No. The point is you're going to get flak for calling it MARSOC when it's no where close, it's not the SCAR, it's the complete lack of anything that would qualify it. Regardless, you have nice kit, nice gear, and a very nice weapon, why bother labeling it? It's your kit that you made, call it that, My Kit. That's all you need. No one cares you don't have the complete FSBE II setup, they just get irked when you don't yet still want to slap a patch on and call it MARSOC.

/end rant/

O so I have to earn a patch to look the part. WTF

No, no, you misunderstood, it's completely fine if you prance around with your MARSOC patch living out some childhood fantasy, I don't mind, but the guys at Recon School in Coronado busting their asses for even a chance to wear it might.

Face. Palm.

What's the point of taking off a SEAL patch just to slap on a MARSOC one that you didn't earn either?

5' 8? That's not too small, maybe the giant MICH just makes you look smaller. Regardless, the kit's coming along nicely, how are the others coming?

My lord Billy, you're the world's smallest Ranger! Lol, I guess that would be an asset in the field though. I'm just kidding, I seem to always comment on people's sizes, lol, I guess it's just hard not to when I'm 6' 3 and 180. Awesome kit by the way. I like the RRV/PCU combo better, but I know you've already got that set up as well. Keep up the good work dude!

Check out EBB's new RG CIRSS vest. It look spot on color wise and the qaulity is on sepc with Pantac.

I find that Brawndo is the only drink with the elctrolytes I crave.

Anywho, I've had a nasty case of hat exhaustion before. Whenever I feel like I'm having an onset of exhaustion, I strip off all my gear, namely boots, gloves, and headwear, take a 20 minute break, rehydrate, and get back out when I'm feeling better. As much as we love airsoft, it's not worth a trip to the ER.

Clothing/Gear / Re: How much does your gear weigh?
« on: August 09, 2009, 05:05:38 PM »
My loadout with 11 M4 Mids, 7 AK Mids, M9 plus 3 mags, M4 CQBR, AK AIMS, RRV, fully loaded MAP, MICH, Flighsuit, comms, water, BB's, IFAK, 6004, and first line weighs probablly around 30-ish pounds. That's my heavy, sit my ass down and burn through mags loadout though. When I run and gun, I ditch the lid, AK, water, loose ammo, a few mags, the crap out of my MAP, and in some cases my comms, so I get down to 11-13 pounds.

One of those over a regular OTV would look close, or just get the neck, shoulder, and groin flaps and jury rig them to that rig.

Yeah that's what I was thinking about doing, but that makes it inaccesible when I'm alone, which is probally a situation where I'd need to unsling that AK, lol. And damnit, I want pics of your PJ, Ranger, and SEAL kits NOW!! lol

ORC is better :P

The OP should rename this... Airsoft gear at school. As I laugh at the people and there north-face everything.

As last year at home coming we had army day.... hehe I won. I will try and find some pictures.

Lol, please do, I wear my 5.11 HRT pants with my rigger belt and Sawtooth's to school all the time. I also wear my north face stuff for school and airsoft, so that kind of counts. I also use my Kelty pack for both. Most of my gear serves triple purpose between hiking school and airsoft.

Yeah, that thing flies all over the place. I'm not sure whether to go with a belt mounted weapons catch, or just some sort of retention strap.

I love all the seal loadouts. Old school for the win.

Nice kit bones, and funny story.

but don't you mean v7 gearbox? Also not meaning to de-rail the thread but you might want to consider a different brand gearbox than G&P..

Right right, v7. Have you had any issues with G&P products? I've only used their optics. I might go for the G&G.

Bones, what brand Romanian style AK is that? Looks pretty good with your kit imo :P

Thanks, that's what I was thinking when I bought it, a mix of high spped gear with a classic AK AIMS. It's a CYMA, and damn nice. Metal and wood, blowback, 430 FPS with .2's and 2.5 inch groupings at 100 feet, all for 90 bucks :p One of the most awseome deals I have ever recieved. Check them out on RSOV and Khmountain, they're solid pieces.

That's not good....

I'd work on it for ya but too bad we're like 2000 miles apart.  :P

My kit is basically done.

I was going to do a SEAL kit like SEAL team 3 in Ramadi in 2006 but I decided to scratch it due to the lack of $$$.

Big dreams but no cash... :P

Now all I wear is a tan issue flight suit, the Pantac universal chest rig I posted a while back, and a very light first line. I only wear what I need. I'll post up soon. I'm focusing on my GBB M4 upgrades now.

Heck I've been working on weapons so much I might need an armorer's loadout. :P

-Luis

Cool stuff, I personally like that flightsuit and chest rig loadout WAY more than some uber decked out Ramadi kit. You'll have to post some pics of that GBBR in the gallery so I can see it. Your Mk 18 was so well done, can't wait to see this one.

I'll be sure to get a pic next week with my newly pimped 2002 and homemade nape pad. Thanks again!

Sadly yes, I must have rattled the internals or something, because it won't shoot, and I have no idea how to work with the EBR chassis so I cant get inside it. I'm thinking of just buying a G&P v3 for it and starting over. Surprisingly, the chassis was not damaged at all lol. That thing is just a solid block of steel. It passed clean through some admittedly rotted soft wood, and into a metal barrel, and smashed to the ground without chipping or breaking at all.

On another note, how's your kit coming along?

Luis, the EBR turned into a javelin last game. A dead sprint+tripping= 16 lbs of steel flying through the air, crashing through a plywood building. Like, clear though. Everyone who witnessed this will agree it was the single funniest thing that has ever happened in this sport.

New-ish kit. Ask if yuou want a kit list, sorry the pics are so blurry. I didn't realize it until I posted them.
