Clothing/Gear / EDIT: Triple mag pouches?

Would Khaki pouches over a woodland vest (over marpat..) be all that noticeable in the mid-Atlantic region? More specifically the MAryland/ Virginia region with many dead leaves and some undergrowth, but not much. I know the human eye is far better at detecting movement than deformations, but would a tan pouch really give your position away?

Problem Solving / AIM gearbox wiring harness arc?

So my piston head shattered and when I opened up the gearbox the wiring harness contact seemed to be bent. almost at a 45 degree angle. I'll post a picture up later, but its the one closest to the cylinder and is mounted vertically if that makes sense. The brass-colored rod its on Is bent and I wonder if that's the cause of lackluster ROF? Doesn't make sense to me if it is, sense the wiring seems to be soldered on they're pretty good but then again I never really worked on anything electrical.

Problem Solving / How hard is it to repair a M9 PTP mag?

I might purchase a used kwa M9 for only 50$ but the only problem is the mag is broken. I'm assuming the o-ring is blown so my question is what size o-rings do the mags take? I haven't seen the mag but for 50$ I would be stupid not to buy it since new mags only run 30$.

SMAT (Southern Maryland Airsoft Team) is recruiting interested players all over Maryland. Led by Brett Garner, we have 3 divisions. Eastern, Southern and Central.

Eastern consists of Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties.

Central Consists of Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery, Prince Georges Counties and Washington D.C.

Southern Consists of Calvert, Charles and Saint Mary's Counties.

AEG Discussion / Absolute Reliability? (G&P and KWA)

Im Finally ordering a new weapon and what I want is good accuracy (say 200'?) and a metal body. I know for a fact a 2G KWA will reach 200' but im sort of lost on the G&P. I have heard some horror stories from both companies but I'm leaning towards a KWA for the 45 day warranty and great customer service. The reason i ask is because Evike's got a great G&P with magpul furniture and a bunch of goodies for 360 which is what a KM4 RIS would cost. Thanks in advance.

AEG Discussion II / Can a bad solder ruin the ROF?

I put in a drop in gearbox but found the wiring to be too short. I cut of the connector, soldered on an extension from the old gearbox (different gauge wiring). i was all happy until i shot it..< 300 RPM =(. Would bad soldering cause the ROF do jack up? keep in mind it is a lighter spring with the same motor

When switching from Semi to Auto  The first shot will be in Semi. also occasionally it will stop firing on auto. Its a version 2 gearbox with a m120  spring.

AEG Discussion / KWA Full Sized m16 2GX question

I am getting some money to get out of the clone market and deciding which gun to get. I am stuck between KWA and CA. Im leaning more towards KWA now but any feedback wuold be nice. Anyways, i am looking for a full sized m16 with wiring to the rear. I also want the new gearbox design but cant seem to find it with a full stock. ASGI sells full sized KM16's labeled "newest model" but dont include anything in the desription. is this  2GX?
