Gun Modifications/Parts/Accessories / A few questions aobut tightbore barrels

Hey guys,

I have a aks74 and would like to put a tightbore barrel in it to increase my range and accuracy.  I have two options, I could either put in a barrel that has the same length as my current barrel, or I could put in one a few inches longer and put a mock mock silencer over it.  So my question is, would it be worth the extra money to get a barrel a few inches longer?  Or if I get one the same length as my current barrel, how much would it change the range and accuracy?

Skirmish Reports / need help with new game

Hey,

My friends and I started playing a new game but we need some help working out the kinks.

So the basic idea is there are two teams, the zombies, and the humans.
The zombie team doesn't have any guns. There objective is to tag all the humans before the time runs out.
The humans each have a gas pistol, but no extra ammo.  There objective is to get to a series of points each with something different (like ammo or more guns), and hold each point for 1 minute.  When a zombie gets hit they have to stay still for ten seconds, then there back in the game.
The only problem is that the humans never won any games out of the 4 or 5 games we played.  So we need to do something make it harder for the zombies.  Any ideas?

Problem Solving / WE M9 doesn't feed

Hello,
I have a WE M9 blow back pistol and it's having some feeding problems.  I'm pretty sure the reason it's not feeding is that the enhanced nozzle
does not always retract after the pistol has been fired, so it doesn't push the next round into the chamber.  I think that it just moves forward to far and gets so it doesn't line up with the gasket in the back of the gun, so the two little springs can't pull it back into place.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I own a few AEG rifles and some GBB pistols, and all I've really done to clean them is get the dirt off the outside.  So I was wondering what should I be doing to clean and maintain these guns?

I'm missing the screws that attach the forward receiver to the lower receiver on my ak-47.  Does anybody know where I can get some of these?

Basic Training <--- YOUR FIRST POSTS HERE / Reshaping serpa holsters

I just bought a serpa holster for my m9, and when it came in the mail the part that the slid goes into is too small, so the slid doesn't go in the holster all the way.  I was wondering if there is a way to reshape the holster to fit the slid better.

Have any of you done this?

I'm would like to put a retractable stock on my ak-47, and make it look something like this.  http://www.evike.com/images/large/aeg-gp-ak001.jpg.
But I don't know if I have to buy an new lower receiver to do this or what?

I'm trying to repaint the plastic stock and pistol grip on my ak74.  I tried to remove the old paint with sand paper (220 grit) and it removed some of the paint, but it also scratched up the stock quite a bit.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair the scratches?
Does anyone know what kind of paint is best for airsoft guns?
