Okay, one thing to make clear, there were some slight hiccups till lunch. The op planned didn't turn out well. During this time, I got no kills and the entire woodland team was bottled up near the spawn point. It wasn't fun, and issues were abundant. I also tried early in the day to get my revolver running with a vfc charger I bought off a SFOD member, but it didn't work out well. I bought some nice patches though (nuke and medic cross) from a professional patch maker (http://www.omlpatches.com
). I plan to ask to make a "special" patch or two.
However, everything turned around when the organizers decided to do the "300" games, a fantastic ideal. First was everyone against team SFOD who were the "300" in the city. The first half of the day had me bogged down with my gear (anyone want to give me a chest rig or something light
) and my aks74u. I had swapped out for my Famas F1, getting some notice on it. As we charged the city, I was sent to a outer building top floor, having to dash up a ramp. I pointed out some enemies to others on the ground and towards the end, spotted 2 guys at the farthest building. After a few minutes of exchanging fire. One was taken out buy a teammate on the ground. I saw the 2nd guy peek his weapon out of a side window, like he was leaning out to hit someone. A slow volley from my famas took him down.
When woodland became the "300". I was first at the fence at the city border. Fire got too intense (there was 2 saw gunners for pete's sake
). I fell back, and looked for a good building spot. One building was made up of 2 levels with connections to different sections. (Bridge like) The entrance to the building was interesting. Shed door style main entrance and what I thought was a side entrance separated by s corner inward. Ground floor was L shaped. There was a small ladder going up at the opposite of the main entrance. This lead to a small deck jutting from the walls with no windows. Another ladder led up to the main 2nd level, where 2 guys were attempting to hold the tide (they eventually got out, refs came to escort them, chuckled when they saw me). I was in a corner of the small deck, not seeable without having to look carefully through the main door. I was in a uncomfortable position, but I was hidden, and trained my famas on both entrances. I heard the battle rage for so long
. The tan team moved forward and was right outside my building, engaging the remaining woodland forces in the city, unaware of Guts
. One guy in black with a mp5 came in, opened fire. He looks up, priceless. Guy in tan outside at a small side buildings wall, also opened fire on, priceless. My glory moment came when a player wearing a aquamarine tshirt and rig comes into the room, I'm right near him. I fire one shot, but he didn't notice (I don't blame him, not much oomph in my famas). He came within 2 feet of me and I held my gun out towards him, and said "Bang". He looks up, priceless expression. Another guy comes in later in black, opened fire, priceless. Eventually, a group stacked against the wall behind me hears about me. At first they wanted to breach, but they decided against. Then they tried to stack on top of each other and have a guy kill me from above, over the wall. A ref called them off as a guy popped over and saw me. I kept moving my famas (I was sitting, gun tucked over shoulder) between entrances, believing they would soon make a breech maneuver. I heard them talking about using a m203 (scared me, but I knew ricochets wouldn't count). I started bantering with them, thinking for a moment of coming out unhit and just go to dead zone. Soon after this, a speedy guy was running past the main entrance and fired a shot while mid strife, got me. When I came down. I looked at that second entrance wondering why the group outside didn't come in. Turns out, it just lead to a walled enclosure, lol. I chatted with the guys who tried to get me to come out, one was my badass friend Onslaught, who earlier was on the woodland side with a GHK aks74u. I then went to the dead zone and told my tale of hilarity kills.
So 5 kills (I dedicate the bang kill to Atilla as an offering for removing my strike). Guts got blood.
SFOD team FTW!
Guts on defense FTW!
I'll try to get pics up from people who took them. (sorry, no bang kill pics)http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z181/WolkaBoy75/SFOD/100_7793.jpg?t=1245041861

Only Guts has guts to stand up like an idiot. No, I'm just really bad at maneuvering.http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn263/cqbr21/MI%20Game%20Pics%202009/SFOD%20June%2014%202009/IMG_6567.jpg
