I didnt think so. I was planning to:
A. Get a $120 gun from airsoftgi.com
B. Quit this sort of airsoft because I'm spending enough on reenacting and paintball.

Hrmmmmm..... Hrmmmmmm..... HRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..... I'll pick............. (b) for $200.

*CORRECT*

Damn it! Can someone find me a good gun that's $100 or under if there are any which there probably aren't. My dad doesn't like me spending $40 dollars letalone 493 (for a Marushin Garand) for an airsoft gun.

It's a size issue. Look at my sig. See the words "FIRST SERGEANT STUMPY" and next to it "MY NAME IS". Now do you get it? I'm 10, but 7 year olds are taller than me.

mig1: Really? Oh well, then I'll just use the ones I got with my DE *sigh* M82.

Here the link is to the M4: http://www.hobbytron.com/AirsoftAssaultRifleGunAEGWAA10CH3181.html

It sucks when I'm under 14 because these are HUGE! I'm talking not able to get the butt on shoulder. The butt goes almost 3 inches back under my arm! They also weigh about 10 lbs.

I'm steadily getting more cash. My friend has this M4 with a grenade launcher he got for $88. It's almost all metal. I'll show you the pix. Right now it's on sale: $69? I still owe my mom $400 because I got a Marushin M1. Pretty Nice. Here are the pix:

Did you say a Marine Loadout? Where do you live? I'm starting an Airsoft Team that does USMC in Iraq kits. It's called Echo Company. Pm me if you want to join or for Questions.

Now, back to the part about you. It looks like a good kit so far. Sounds like you want an M4A1. A lot of people said my loadout was overkill, but I'll change that. A canteen might do you some good.

SilentScope14: The HydraStorm Camel Pack carries a few gallons of water. I usually do longer events, thats why I have the Assualt Pack. But I will ditch it and get smaller pockets like AEG Dude said.
DEAR EVERYONE ELSE: The damn hippies at eBay.com tricked me. In another AEG discussion, someone told me only to buy from eBay if you know what you're doing...I wish I had thought of that. It is not a Carbine, I accidentally wrote 'M4A1 Carbine', then forgot to erase 'Carbine'. It is not a sniper rifle, like I said, the hippies tricked me. It looks like an M4, though...

If that link works, you'll notice it has a lot of attachments, thats why I got it. I like M4s, too.

Clothing/Gear / Is this a good kit?
« on: May 29, 2007, 06:52:09 PM »
Is this a good kit? I'm working on it. I think it'll be good for like a 2-4 hour event. Of course, as I progress, I will get more mags and mag pouches. Tell me what I need to adjust:

1.   M82A1
2.   1-Point Tactical Sling
3.   Digital Desert BDUs
4.   3-Day Assault Pack, BlackHawk (Holding Various Items)
5.   HydraStorm®  Camel Pack
6.   1 Triple M16 Magazine pouches (Holds 6)
7.   1 M2628 Magazine Pouches
8.   Kevlar helmet with Digital Desert cover (attached NVGs)
9.   9 M82A1 Carbine Magazines
10.   Airsoft Retreat Patch
11.   Echo Company Patch
12.        Standard-Issue {Military} multipurpose goggles with wrap

I think it will do good. I'll carry sme other stuff in my 3-Day Assault Pack, like snacks and PIs (Personal Items). The Airsoft Retreat patch was from the thread about them. I am currently ordering a few, I'll post their pix, and if you don't like them, I guess I'll put them on my stuff! Echo Company is my [new] unit [that I'm running from now until I can find a guy that's taller  :D] If you'd like to join, shoot me a PM, or reply in it on my "Airsofters in NJ" in Players. I can't help but think I'm missing something in my kit...

I think its a great idea. I know this website that makes them. I submitted a quote for them to see over. It was a khaki shield with (On the top) "AIRSOFT RETREAT", and on the bottom, "MEMBER." I was thinking that we could have three patches on our jackets: AS/R patch, unit patch, and rank patch. We should have inter-unit ranks. Each unit should be commanded by a Lieutenant, and should have squads, platoons, etc. And YES I have had too much time to plan this. It's just a suggestion. I think it'd be pretty cool, though.

I have a Marishun Garand thats a semi auto. It's really nice. Unless you're under...14. It's just like the real one. It's a gas guzzler though. I have a Walnut Limited Version for reenacting. It's nice.

Skirmish Reports / Re: Medics in skirmishes - class-based airsoft
« on: May 28, 2007, 04:29:18 PM »
THIS IS HOW MY REENACTING (AIRSOFT) GROUP DOES IT: If you're hit in the torso or below, you call out, "MEDIC!" (Or something like that) The Medic comes to you, then puts gauze around your right arm. If your hit again, he put gauze on your left arm. If youre hit again, youre dead. I think its smart. All you need is something to hold gauze in.

Thank you! I was just about to order from them. This wasnt that clear: How long did they take? Because I can handle it sometimes.

The Screening Room / Re: "over there"
« on: May 27, 2007, 09:36:55 PM »
I loved the series. I have it on DVD. The only sucky part is, on the preview, they show Dim and Angel patrolling a town. The thing is, the show didnt last that long! The parts when they were dug in were O.K. But if real soldiers were there with all the insurgents, they'd [the US] would have 10 caskets to fill by morning, at the least.

FOR ALL OF YOU WHO WANT TO DO A WWII SCENARIO, LISTEN CLOSELY: I'm in a reenacting organization called WW2AA. It's an AIRSOFT REENACTING GROUP. But, you need to have a good kit. They costs 100s, I have one. But it is alot of fun.

You should get US Military Standard Issue tactical goggles. They protect against everything. You may have seen pix of Marines wearing them in a black casing on their helmets. Their usually only 18.99 where I live

Airsoft Players / Re: Airsofters in NJ?

I have a few questions:
   1. How do I start a team here (like what I need to do to get a link up, or make it 'official', etc.
   2. {Opinion} If I start a team, will anyone take me seriously? I joined the forums under the parental waiver, I'm under 13.
   3. If I start one, can I make uniform reg[ulation]s? I want it to be like the 3d Marine Div. All Digi Cammo, and current gear. That'd be cool.

If anyone would like to join, as soon as 2 people join, I'll start up a site for it. Just in case, I guess I'll elect someone else CMDR, bc I'm shorter than a seven year old  ::).

I think I will. A friend of mine may join it, too. Someone answer me!

Tactics / Re: How would you take a bunker?
« on: May 27, 2007, 05:51:46 PM »
I would throw a nade in (if you have any) then burst in with three or four guys shooting on rock & roll. Or 'burn the place' out with a 203.

It'll look ugly, plus itll weigh the gun down in the front

Misc. Weapons / Re: airsoft TOW missle attempt.
« on: May 26, 2007, 05:20:36 PM »
That is awesome! Here's what I do: For cheap nades (and possibly ammo for that monster!) I put BBs in a baloon. A small one. When you throw it...BANG! That might work as ammo for that. It gets like a 20ft blast radius on good winds.

23
I don't like the whole vest concept. I use M2628 mag pouches with the grenade suspenders. Ever since the end of Nam, we gotten to obsessed over vests. I tried a Shotgun-Shell vest (The ones you can ALICE pins on), and I put my cateen on it. JC! That was the worst game.

Airsoft Players / Airsofters in NJ?
« on: May 26, 2007, 05:12:43 PM »
I was wondering if their were any airsofters in the upper parts of NJ with some kind of current kit completed or almost completed. I am almost done woth my USMC 2007 kit. I need a Digital Desert Jacket and such. I'll be starting a team probably.

Yeah... Okay then... Well I found a baseball card that's selling for around 2000, so if I grow a little (I'm a midget), you'll mistake the year for 1944!
