They're having a sale on SDS gear, which is/was USGI issue. Installing a metal body isn't hard, so http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=41_562&products_id=33420 would be a good choice. I'm not certain on the reliability, it has mixed reviews. Would Khaki pouches over a woodland vest (over marpat..) be all that noticeable in the mid-Atlantic region? More specifically the MAryland/ Virginia region with many dead leaves and some undergrowth, but not much. I know the human eye is far better at detecting movement than deformations, but would a tan pouch really give your position away?

            i mean if i need a large type battery i guess ill just bite the bullet and buy one, btw i've ordered from all battery before and my experience with them was great ( it's where i got all my other batteries), they have very good prices.

you may not be able to retract it all the way but it should be fine. Unrelated but, how do their elite cells compare to a intellect?

If they're both the Blowback model then they're pretty much the same unless they changed something in the last few weeks. 2 of my friends have em' and the perform pretty much the same.

They look very similar to the RA-Tech ones, at least based on color.  After seeing their video of testing their 6mm paintballs in a GBB pistol, GBB rifle, and AEG, I'm convinced they are very feasible, though somewhat expensive, but a lot of people still assume "6mm paintball" means those crappy red paintballs from years ago.  For those who haven't seen the RA-Tech video:

Also, is it just me, or is there a big gaping hole in the lens of that mask?  Hopefully that wasn't caused by the paintballs...

Problem Solving / AIM gearbox wiring harness arc?

So my piston head shattered and when I opened up the gearbox the wiring harness contact seemed to be bent. almost at a 45 degree angle. I'll post a picture up later, but its the one closest to the cylinder and is mounted vertically if that makes sense. The brass-colored rod its on Is bent and I wonder if that's the cause of lackluster ROF? Doesn't make sense to me if it is, sense the wiring seems to be soldered on they're pretty good but then again I never really worked on anything electrical.

Forgive my ignorance but, I thought A1 had a forward assist just not the deflector? My dad has a nam' issue one and it has the assist..
