Hey ASR so I wanted to ask anyone who owns a Tanaka AICS if they could measure the back screw the screws the receiver into the body by height and possibly width? The one thats in the gun that I got(used) looks to be a replacement and has a tendency to become loose every so often giving my tanaka feeding/compression issues.

My second question is that when I insert my long 29 round magazine into the receiver the first time i shoot the magazine to bolt compression is perfect but after the shot the magazine has a tendency to sink a bit into the magwell. This causes compression issues and wanted to know if anyone else had to deal with this issue. I am running a G&G power bolt at the moment. Thanks guys.

Yea it would. If your bbs are curving up with .25s with the hop up on the lowest position or off then I would say go .3s. .28s might be nice but I think that with .3s you would get more consistent groupings and you could compensate with more hop up since it seems like the hop up is really strong.

I also say Prommy since I had one in a m733 and the range and accuracy was superb. But I also had luck with the JBU 6.03 barrels when I had my ICS M4. I used a guarder bucking 50 percent bucking, JBU barrel and .25s. The .25s overhopped even on the lowest setting but when I added my ICS QD mock surpessor barrel extension it straightened out the trajectory and I easily got 225 feet on a mansized target. I was also able to hit a coke can on my 3rd shot  at 190 feet with a G&P aimpoint so I would say thats pretty good range for an AEG

I hate TM haters.

Exactly haha, my friends TM AK47 which definitely went through a lot of FA with a 10.8 4200 mah battery(before lipos this was the second largest you could go and has been running stock for 7-8 years strong. All the other KWA(before the newer ones)CA,JG/E1have required some sort of care(which is expected) but the few TMs that I have shot/owned have rarely given me a problem. The one time one did, it was because the entire gun was upgraded thus not making a stock TM.

So it just goes over the bdus. And is there anyway to secure it besides fastening it tight enough around your waist? I was kind of hoping it would go through the belt loops so then it would help the dump pouch up(when its filled with a bunch of ghk magazine).

So this might be a really simple/stupid question but are you supposed run the belt OVER your BDUs? The only BDUs I have on me is my woodland from a while back and the belt is too wide. If it is meant to be run through the belt loops then would it work on the tru spec multicam? From the pictures it looks like it would work but I really can't tell by the pictures.

Sorry mods, can't remember if an update to a post that can't be edited is against the rules(if it counts as a double post).

Anyway, after live chatting with a representative on their website I was finally told that my item was out of stock. This is the exact order update that they have in their system.

11/23/2010    Paypal Processing    
11/23/2010    Paypal Payment Completed    
11/24/2010    Waiting Package    
12/16/2010    Refunded

I emailed them, and PMed them off of ASR and did not get a response after waiting three days. Honestly it wasn't as bad as waiting almost a full month with no update as to what was going on and when I spoke to the representative, from what I could piece out they supposedly sent me an notification on the 27th. Not only did I never get an email both on my phone(which does not have a spam folder, so every email that I get I actually check individually off of my phone and then on my computer) about the item not being in stock I waited more than two weeks and had to call to see what was going on. Well when I asked for the refund he was quick to give it to me, just frustrating and honestly kinda precarious that I never got any notification about it being out of stock and refunding me the money. If I didn't ask and forgot about the order, would he have kept it? Overall this experience has steered me away from Tiger111HK(even though its my second purchase, and my first order went well). The lack of communication and the fact that I had to ask about a refund and up till then I had not heard a single word just does not give me the best vibes. This is my experience and hope that I am the only the one who experienced this delay.

Yea that is what I thought too but from the general look of the notch it looks like that wouldn't be the issue. I don't have another mag unfortunately and will have to wait till I can find another one to test or ship it back. Any chance it could be the mag catch in the gun isn't properly machined? The mag pops in sometimes catches and then gets loose when the slide is released. Other times the mag kinda bounces back and won't catch. I am hoping I am not the only one with this issue but I guess time will tell. Thanks xbeeongx for the response.

I just got this from GI and really dont want to have to pay shipping back to them to get either it fixed or replaced so I thought if there is any home remedies I can do I would rather do that. In the mean time I have filled out the RMA with whats going with the magazine trouble. 

Anyways whenever the magazine is first inserted into the gun, it sometimes catches and sometimes kinda bounces back and wont properly seat. For the times that it does properly seat after I pull the slide back and it catches(since theres an empty mag) and I let go of the slide release the magazine starts to fall out. So when I go back to rack the slide again, it doesnt even catch because the magazine at that point has started to fall out. My palm and fingers are not hitting the magazine release button so that couldnt be it. If there is anything anyone can suggest that would be great.

Problem Solving / KJW M700 dial not really dialing anymore

So I disassembled the gun to clean and when trying to screw on the dial it seems like it just gets tight and doesnt spin like its supposed to. When I unscrew it, it actually kinda clicks like it should. Any help?

My magazines are 10 round each so thats why I was asking about where to put an extra mag or two. Its kinda funny that everyone thought I was using VSR magazines and those G&P's my friend got and they would never feed correctly, I heard none of them do. 

Either the rig, or the Alice gear sounds like a great idea. Now I am not sure if I want to go with a drop leg config with an extra mag like gator said or a shoulder holster system, I will look into both. And thanks for the suggestion about the hydration system. I have seen cheek rests for the m16 where you can fit a magazine in I may go with that as well. Please keep the suggestions coming.

Alright thanks guys for the help so far. I am trying to imagine if it would be awkward if I had to reach around my back to grab an extra magazine or not since I want to move as little as possible.

With all the home made ghillie suits I have seen were constructed on the back of a pair of BDUs or a flight suit. In that case would I want to somehow attach the camelback to the BDU as well kinda like a permanently? I feel that way itll be easiest and will always be concealed but changing water might be tough. What do you guys think? Trying to imagine this in my mind is kinda hard and so far I have not bumped into any guide or kit list for a sniper. Thanks
