This is a little far fetched I know, but would it be possible, to use compressed air for a green gas gun with one of these?

I play a lot of indoor CQB games so I'm looking for a safe alternative to propane or green gas.

AEG Discussion / Re: AEG Upgrade Guide V2.4 (UPDATED JUN08) - SVX

So, what would be the pros/cons of putting a M85 spring in an airsoft gun, how would that effect the ROF, (I would put it in CA P90).   Would the gun still remain stable with that weak of a spring and a 9.6v battery?

Problem Solving / KWA G17 recoil spring jam.
« on: March 02, 2009, 06:25:35 PM »
Yes I know it's dumb, but the recoil spring was not lined up correctly and is now stuck, I can't remove the slide to unjam it because the slide doesn't move all the way forward.   What can I do to fix this problem.

Clothing/Gear / Re: Gloves for airsoft

+1 for the Mechanix gloves, they are durable and come in several colors/styles, plus the simulated leather on the palm and fingers has excellent grip.  You can get them at almost any hardware/auto parts store, which is convenient.

Problem Solving / KWA Glock 17 reinforced Part #10?
« on: January 19, 2009, 06:37:32 PM »
I have heard rumors that I could get a reinforced part #10 (Feed ramp).  Does anyone know if this is true and/or know where I can get one?  Mine broke and I would rather not have it break again.

I have a TSD SD .45 (aka: UMP), which takes a stick type battery, any recommendations on what V/MaH I should use?  It comes stock with a 8.4V 1150MaH battery.  I don't know a whole lot about the internals other than it has a metal gear box.

Yea, KWA is essentially KSC made to US standards, they don't allow real steel trademarks here.  Same guns, different rules.  Most US companies just slap their own label over the original trademarks, for the most part it's not a big deal, unless you just HAVE to have the detail.  Also, the KWA are made to work with the higher power gas, I'm not sure if this is because of regulations or just the fact that the KWAs use a metal outer barrel and slide.

Note the orange tip and the lack of trademarks on the KWA
