Iron sights. I play alot in Oklahoma in the outdoors, and we have a lot of windy days, where optics just wont do you much good. The cover we fight in is pretty thick too, and most of the shots are going to be "follow the white BB", and done quickly. Matter of fact, alot of our local players are leaning toward M4/AK47 length guns, and even short model AKs, like the Cyma AKS-74U, focusing on a gun with a good hopup and barrel, forgetting the length and optics. Not everywhere in the country will be this way, but our terrain is a lot of cover, and really rugged. We're good at smashing gun cameras too, out there. Wink wink.
