Threaded inserts for BAR10 Trigger mech
« on: September 03, 2011, 11:31:20 AM »

I have a V-trigger on the way and the threads for mounting the trigger mech on my second hand receiver are stripped. Noobie used threaded inserts on his second BAR10 project (G-Spec). I'd like to do the same, because it seems easier than tapping for larger hardware, In my situation.

As for the inserts themselves, I'm totally lost as what to use. I know they need to be M3, but im unsure on which type to get. length, etc. Im thinking he used captive nuts, but I would like someone to inform me if I'm right or wrong.

Id also like to keep it on McMaster if possible. Thanks in advance.
