I wanted to do it up in the style of the Norwegian G36, with the right barrel length, modded carry handle, etc. I'm getting the flat-top inserts this weekend. I think I got the overall look pretty close.

After noticing a lack of SL8/SL9's in this thread I was going to post mine, but then decided not to.
However, after seeing Echo1 slaughter the SL8 (and virtually any rifle they try to "customize") at SHOT Show this year I'm going to post mine up.

I'm sorry that a company is making replicas of high quality rifles that fit the new player's budget. I mean, if they have the same gun as you, then you must not be special anymore.

While I really like this thing, I've been considering selling it for a while because of the mags.

The amount of SL9's I can deal with.....the (bleep) ugly slaughtering of their "MTC" (Mass Targeted Crap) is what pisses me off.

They're not so much high quality as they are overpriced. Do you think that a standard version 3 gearbox and the "SPECIAL" Madbull blue bucking is high quality? Meh, I don't think so. The only thing I find wrong with it is that I worked hard for my Star SL9 and now I'm going to have people asking me if it's the Echo 1 version.
