scared the **** out of me and took a 20 round burst to the face and torso. I felt horrible but now me and him play on a regular basis at our field.
Haha man I had the exact thing happen to me about a month or so after me and the guys started playing. Like I said before we weren't so smart and still thought it was logical to buy the cheapest bb's we could find which were .12's, so you had to get pretty dang close to have any hope of hitting your target. We played free-for-all back then and I was moving up this main pathway through the thick of the woods with my first AEG, and my cousin who's truly been my brother my entire life, out of nowhere jumps out of the thick and fires one shot at me from a springer. (He really should have gotten me out but the bb was a .12 and I got lucky) I screamed and because I'd been moving up at point dead aim unloaded on the poor guy for quite a lot longer than a normal scared little girl would. Well I didn't miss, and my poor friend had welts all over his neck and chest. I felt so terrible, he puts up with a lot from me. Love you Bullet Proof.
(of course I need to make sure I can get some scope risers so I can see through my scope when aiming with the mask)
Been through that. Not a fan of the Paintball masks.
You don't need to spend money on a Camelpakbakpakultranavyseals. Go out and buy a $5 canteen and fill it with water. You'll be fine. Keep water in your car when you go out, too.
We bring a cooler of water and I often have water on me when in the field.
and while teeth can be replaced, you will have to watch what you eat your whole life if you do end up with a crown or a false tooth. Wear a mouth guard or face protection.
I've always played with face protection. I never liked being vulnerable to mouth shots. It's too bad I never solved the occasional ball shot problem though.
Let everyone know you want to become more involved in the local airsoft community & play more, but don't become annoying.
Are you saying I'm annoying? Kidding.
Thanks a lot all of you, I'll be sure to listen to what you guys are telling us to do. I knew before I joined these forums that the most important thing for our group to do at this point is to find a field to start playing at. I'll be researching throughout the next week, we'll find one. Thanks for all of the other advice as well, I've really appreciated it.
