Systema Max Gearbox in KWA?

(1/2) > >>

DrOpPoInT1110:
Is it possible to fit a Systema Max gearbox in another brand of M4? I am thinking about doing this to my KWA SR7 if it's possible. Also, I'm guessing that I would have to get a Systema upper receiver to house the piston. Is this correct? Thanks.

DrOpPoInT1110:
I'm talking about the small PTW Max gearbox like this one: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=51
I like how compact and simple it is. Also, the trigger response is incredible. What is a better option in your opinion? I'm not really interested in increasing fps since I play indoor mostly. The stock trigger response on the SR7 is pretty damn good for a stock gun (and shimmed properly) but I have an itch for something even more precise/ efficient. I may just upgrade parts of the 2GX gearbox but I'm not sure yet.

Systema is overpriced and under performing...

To answer your question, no, read the reveiws in the link you provided  :P

A better option would be to get a JG (unless you already have the KWA...) and upgrade and tune it. A high torque motor and Li-Po (and obviously a Mosfet)  will get you excellent trigger response. If you want more, get a 14.8 Li-Po.

Didn't even look at the reviews.  ::)  Oh well, my mistake. I already have the KWA. I guess I'll look into some motors and batteries/mosfets. Any specific recommendations for motors? Thanks.

PiMan:
SHS, Lonex, or Terminusx are all good choices. In my personal preference from lowest to best, but all good motors.
For a Mosfet you can go to Extreme Fire.
For the Li-po you can pick one up at any hobby store for cheap ($20-$30)
