HurricanE Shrike

I have recently obtained a HurricanE Shrike. I bought it already completed. Problem is, I don't know how to take it apart.

Now, I pulled the body pins out, and the upper receiver comes apart just a bit. There is something on the inside of the gun that catches, and I can't see it. The previous owner told me you have to pull back the charging handle to get it apart. I've done that, but still, no give. I don't want to try to use brute force to take it apart cause I don't want to break it. I'm sure many of you know, the Shrike Kits aren't that easy to come by now a days.

Does anyone have experience with working with a Shrike and help me take it apart?
