Yeah, no. For gaming you really want a hard wire as WiFi is too slow, or at least not as fast as a hard wire. As well, I dual boot Ubuntu and OSX. I can tell you that for general gaming OSX is better than Linux, but Windows, obviously, beats it all. I mean, unless the only games you want to play are coming from The Humble Bundle, you are going to have a hard time with stability if you are brute-forcing them to work by using Wine, and even then, most of your multiplayer will not work.
