Which has better externals, vfc m60 or ino m60
« on: July 01, 2012, 02:38:19 PM »

After searching for the past few days I haven't found anything very relevant. I found one review but it was only comparing the internals of the guns and I'm much more concerned about the externals of the gun because I plan on eventually dropping in a fusion engine.
So which do you think has the better externals, the VFC m46 mod 0 or the Ino m60e3?
If they are essentially identical then ill probably go with the Ino because I like the longer barrel and the box it comes in.

If you buy a gun based on the box it comes in, you're making a huge mistake. Flashy packaging is just a ploy to get people to buy their guns. For instance, G&P and WE guns come in almost plain cardboard boxes yet their quality is unmatched.

I'm not sure about the quality on either one as i've never really dealt with LMGs or belt fed weapons.

I know 99% of the time its a bad idea to buy bases on packaging, but the Ino comes in a wooden crate with US stamps and that's just too cool for me to pass up IF both guns have similar external quality

Last time I checked, the M46 is a tank. And I don't recall when VFC made 1950s-era armored vehicles.

That said, it depends on how much the Inokatsu is. Being high-end biased, both would be good choices, but the Ino is just on another level. All of it is steel, and I've heard reports of Ino M60's running for 200k rounds with minimal issues (read up on ardrummer's log on Arnie's). If you could get that Ino around $1k, do it - there is no equal, and Inokatsu has long stopped production of their M60's so it's super rare as well.

My friend brags about having an Ino M60 yet I know as well as the rest of the team I play with knows it's an A&K... :p Ino would be worth it. I actually found a crate (that maybe it's shipped in) that holds two howitzer rounds at Goodwill :o
