I own a Tokyo Marui P226, and it's served me very well for the past year or two I've had it, and the range and accuracy on the thing is amazing.
Having just recently started jumping back into airsoft (college has been keeping me busy) KWA's M226 PTP caught my eye. I've had nothing but good experiences with KWA, and I know their NS2 system is solid, but wasn't sure how it stacked up against the P226.
Personally I don't really mind the plastic body on my P226.. I used to until I saw how nice the thing shot, but I can't say the M226's metal body ins't alluring
Also, realism is also a big factor for me, and while the P226 supposedly does have trademarks originally, they've been drilled off to comply with US law, so I guess that puts it even with KWA
I've tried searching online for comparisons, but can't seem to find any.. anyone have experiences with both want to weigh in? I've heard the generic "TM's P226 range is amazing" and stuff like that, but nothing coming from someone who's handled both.
One concern for me on the TM P226 is that while it's been handling green gas very well, I fear it may break the slide eventually (perhaps during summer when it's hotter..)
