well if you use an 8.4v battery still it will drop the rof pretty bad but using a 9.6v there shouldnt be too much of a diffrence

You should probably have them re wire the battery to the stock and use an external battery pouch. They did that to mine, and it can take larger batteries now.

RLB:
1) Stock gears can pull an M120 spring fine so there is no need to change gears.

2) Onlybatterpacks.com makes a 9.6v battery which will only require removing the battery tray and some minor sanding (there are instructions on the website). This battery will keep your ROF from dropping.

3) 50 FPS difference translates a lot further than "3-4 feet" when it comes to accurate shots. I have a SIG552 that shoot 360 FPS, my son has a SIG552 that shoots 400 FPS. His is accurate 20+ feet further than mine.
