We play a game we call airsoft golf. Thought I would share it as it is fun and reguires good shooting skills. We have tagets spaced out in a patch of woods behind the house like a mini golf course. Each tee area is marked by a simple surveyers flag. The holes or targets are 2 litter bottles turned upside down on a stick. Outside of bottle is painted in a rustic camo pattern. A 2 to 3 inch in diameter hole is cut out in the middle of the bottle. The inside of the bottle is spray painted orange. The holes in the bottle face the tee. You take turns shooting at the target until you score a hit in the hole of the bottle. Aftereveryone has hit it you move to the next hole. You keep track of your score. Lowest score wins. We change the course often to keep it different. We place bets. Grandma, Grandpa, ....every one in the family plays. Pretty social game.
Few more tips.
2 litter bottles are cool as they make a lot of noise when hit. If turned upside down and the cap is of the pellet falling out confirms a hole shot.
For sticks buy the bambo planting sticks at a garden center. 2 bucks for about 20 sticks.
Little kids get to shoot from a closer tee.
We have targets ranging from 30 to 60 feet. 40 to 50 is the norm for a 3 inch circle. For the 60 footer we count a bottle hit as a score. The 3 inch circle is a bit tough to tell if you made it at that distance.
A cheezy camo paint job on the bottle exterior keeps the bottle from being easily seen and the neighbors complaining about trash in the woods.
We are working on light up target.
Have fun.
