sorry for the late response guys... i was at the circus, lol.

the 9oz c02 im getting 500+shots.
FPS is different for each field i play on, local game is 550fps max, for the private games snipers can go up to 625fps max, if i stayed at 625fps im sure id get a little less shots.

but the fps never really changes, it stays in +/-3 fps, one time it went to 5 fps differance, but havent see that happen...

the larger hpa tank i use sometimes gets me over 1.5k shots easy...

any other questions?

My DM Rifle. I painted it flat black, so it does count for this section.  ;)

Ghost - Nice job, love the flat black.  I would like to see it in a two-tone tactical finish though.  I think that would be extra special  ;)

Check out this link and click on the various color selections above the rifle.  Some are more dramatic than others.

Just a matter of time before people started painted them. But over looking that the paint job looks good.

tuppous, amazing paint work! Its too good to play with as a matter of fact; scratches will ruin your work of art! Unless you painted it with Duracoat or added some kind of protection  ;). I hope the paint lasts, great job.

Ghostsniper48, that is one sick and aggressive looking rifle! I agree with MarineSGT, adding some camo will definitely make it special. But then again, keeping it flat black works just as good. M16's are known as "The Black Rifles," so keeping it flat black would keep its character.

Cravona, your paint job looks great! Although, your desk does not do it justice! If you can take some pics of the rifle in the environment you are trying to blend with, then that would be great!

Keep up the good work guys, very impressive stuff!

I really like the looks of that. One question though, why do you have two?

One of them is my friends, he didn't have any paint so we painted them together.

Why not extend those wires into the crane?  Uugh, that make a pretty gun ugly.  A 3-segment Intellect 9.6v would work great with that.

I like it though, maybe a bit more length from the mock to balance things out, but still a nice piece!  Good work  ;)

It is an ICS. I did not want to do anything that would hamper the ease of access to the upper gearbox. I have been researching it though and I might be able to do it without the wires being the way.. The Mock Mock was not my idea, so I had no input on that so far... Not really my style (too short), but it will do... As long as the gun is working I am happy at this point.. This gun has not seen any duty yet, but has not worked since I got it new... Sent to get the spring changed and it came back not working.

Color used was just Krylon Camo Khaki (Tan), on the front end and stock.. The grip and mag are from Ebaybanned and that is their version of Tan for those pieces according to them.

Thanx for the feedback.

Calm down? All he said was "damn" and it's not like he was using it to cuss someone out or anything. But that was a fairly pointless post. But I'm sure his stock is just filled with goodies.

I'm going to have to go back over my plastica with some flat black. I still haven't found out if paint stripper will damage the plastic, so I don't want to chance it. I'll just have to be a little more careful this time. Last time I picked it up before it had fully dried, so I left thumbprints in it...

Gotcha  ;)

It's a nice piece and has a sexy look to it.  They make grips that mold to your hand; that might work out well for you.  I was going to attempt a kit.  The two-tone tactical works very well.  Check out Coyote Brown with DuraCoat if you ever want to ppaint it again as krylon will not last too long if you are hardcore.  Again, nice job and all that matters is if you are happy with it and can lay down some plastic!

Now I have to clean up my work bench after seeing your's...

Marine: You should see mine.    ;D
Anyways, a friend wanted me to paint her phone case, and I decided, "While I'm at it..."

(If anyone has an objection to the phone case being on this thread, tell me and I will remove it.)

Ya, I like painting the upper and not the lower. I think it gives it good contrast. (As well as the barrel, delta ring, and stock tube.)
I figured nobody would have a problem with it (I've seen a calculator on this thread), but if anyone does, I still have no problem taking it down.

kdb, every post from you comes out in obama.  I literally read your replies in his voice because of that pic.  Anyway, the cell phone cover is fine, I have a hard time understanding why, but to each his own.  I may drop the knife from the pic though.  If it was rubber as a sim-knife it's one thing, but just my thoughts to try and keep it AS-related as we all know that will not be used in a game and borederline for posting.

Why don't you paint the lower?  It's more work right?  Don't BS me now!  It's easy to paint the upper, but the lower takes some more work that sometimes is not worth it.

This is about opinion and feedback and I really think it looks a bit awkward without the lower painted to match and the remaining metal.  OK on a DMR with a two-tone tactical, but not that.  Again, just my opinion for what it's worth  :)  I will say it's much better than most AEGs I see out there in the field.

Well I'll have to change the pic then. I'm not the biggest fan of Obama, but I though the picture was pretty funny. The cell case was for my friend, and that's how she said she wanted it. The knife, actually, is on my vest right now, and is often used in games. Not for knife kills, that would be just plain stupid, but for bush-whacking, cutting 550 cord, ect.

I don't paint the lower because I think it gives it a proper amount of contrast, and yes, it is more work.     ::)
I'd have to tape off the trades, then I wouldn't like how it looked, ect, ect. Exactly, IMO, not worth it.

Your opinion is noted, I always consider every comment on anything I post, but I'm pretty sure it's staying like that for a while.
I want some good, natural wear to set in now. I'd say your opinion is worth more than half the other member's 2 cents, simply because you have much more experience in this sport, and you seem like you know what you're talking about.    :P
lol Really? Thanks.
