I've heard that soaking it in silicone can help and there was another way but I forgot what it was.

If your just thinking about getting this gun, stop thinking and get it. This gun is great. I dont own it but my cousin owns it and it is awesome. very quiet and gas efficient. Ive also heard a lot more good experiences than bad ones on these forums. This gun seems great for the price. Im thinking about getting one of these just for plinking around the backyard

you can easily go down to home depot and get a better O-ring that fits your valve. i don't remeber what # or size you need though because mine never leaked.

Um, don't get it... I've been through o-ring repair stuff, and it didn't do squat to the gun. I even went as far as gluing it down permanently, and it still leaks temperamentaly. I have spend 50$ on the gun and 20$ on a spare mag, and I would like to say that both leaked. The plastic on the slide cracks very easily (NOT a blowback), but just from normal handling and cocking. Performance is good and accuracy is EXCELLENT, and fps is typical. I would instead point you torward the cheaper and better Y&P m9.

Yeah i was just going to mention the Y&P. Plus at jungletoy its 29.99 with free shipping. I'd just go with that.

haha, gluing a oring is going to destroy it. you prolly used super glue that sutff makes rubber brittle and prone to cracking. which means youll leak enven more gas. sorry, but its not the fault of the gun if you dont know what youre doing when trying to repair it.

the real solution is not soaking in silicone oil, what you do is buy a tube of silicone gasketing and then make new gaskets for your mag. ive done this to a usp and it never leaks, ive had gas in my gun for over 5 days without leaking. thats pretty good for a plastic valved gas gun. the only place the usp mags leak from is the bottom fill valve, once you fix that your gun will be better than new. i got my silicone gasketing from a 99 cents store and have fixed alot of leaky gas mags with it not just the uhc nbb. this is something all gas gun owner needs in their tool box.

i used silicone gasketing to seal the air in a spring guns cylinder but i never thought of using it on a gas gun valve.

My friend had this gun and had to replace the mag because it leaks. He also had to put rubberbands around the fron of the gun and on the hammer to make it shoot. It was a really good gun for the price, but now it is all jacked up. I think it was because my freind did not treat it well, but that is just what has happened to him.
