i wish there was a BR55 that would be awsome. I always thought the BR55 reminded me of like a hybrid AUG(back part) with like a Famas front.

This is just a guess, but those are probably the same models used in the game for motion caption.

It was a commercial for Halo 3 I think, along with some about a museum...

well, they obviously have those in full size, there were a full squad of those authentic BR55 in the short movies. Hope the creators of those would sell em. I bet they would sell them if the HALO movie would release. I think jams toys? (read the back section on the OXM) are selling the "covenant's" plasma gun (in full size) that would shoot out rubber darts and a collector's energy sword.

Acutually those plasma rifles and pistols were going to be a laser tag system. I heard the whole thing was made inside a guys house using motion capture. Odds are those are just models made on a computer. Here's where I heard about how they did it. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/110817.htmlI wish those BR55's were real. Someone really needs to make a design that is compatible with AEG parts and then have it made. Maybe I might work on it as a project on my computer if I get really bored.

I don't think the whole thing was done in a studio. Probably only the special effects though. My first and fourth pictures I posted above are definately not computer generated as well as these two: The costumes, weapons, and vehicles were all designed and build from WETA Workshop. If you look closely, the BR55's actually have a tactial light mounted onto the right side.

I thought that they'd be Weta's work too, as the hog is. They're probably just models, made from plastic or whatever. Gotta love Weta...

You have to have a lot of time and money on your hands to make one.... not to mention being a halo addict.
I prefer guns that are based off the real thing IMO.

The second guy in this picture, the one in the back, it looks like he's just holding an AUG. Maybe they were based off that?

They're great if your opponents happen to be using guns that shoot sun, wind, or dust though.

I like the BR55, but you know the assualt rifle would be cool too. I think it's MA5 or something like that. I think I remember a guy actually did hook up a bullet counter on his G36.
Honestly though, the armor alone would be awsome to own.

I think if we get enough people who would buy one we could talk Killbucket into a custom gun.

i bet it was made off an aug, the back lines of the rifles are identical, the two guys standing togther are both carrying guns based off the design of the AUG.

Yes, but that's a 1/6th model, not an actual shell. The helmets on the armor don't look right.
Several people have tried making AUG's, based off the FAMAS and F200. I have seen the famas version, it looks really nice. It's on the forums, search.

I don't think having a suit made out of legos will do you any good.

i saw that suite. lol i could imagine running around with that and getting shot and seeing the pieces flying off.
back on topic- you could probably use an aug, and modify the body and use a MG36c or maybe an XM8 carrying handle
