SRC isn't an upgrade but yeah, you could do that.

Well, I know I'm not Xavier, but I have a Guarder full tune up kit. Came with a metal spring guide, metal cylinder head, awesome piston and piston head, air nozzle, and a cylinder. Works great. Oh, and the JBU free float RIS works on my ICS M4, and so does the Dboys clubfoot stock. :3

As far as internals go, in my ICS's, I've had the best luck with Guarder and Systema parts.  Not sure about the modify parts yet, have to get a new spring in first.

Hey, anyone know why my gun doesn't like springs over M110s? Like, I've had an element 115 in there, which should be shooting at around 390-400 fps, and an Systema M120 in there that should be shooting over 400 fps, but for some reason, on the higher powered springs, my gun only shoots a little over 200. Any suggestions?

Is it an ICS? Your description is very vague and I'm guessing you have some blow by issues.

It's an ICS M4. Just traded my WE Scar for it a few weeks ago. It's the black-bodied Anniversary model. It has a Guarder FTK and I'm pretty sure it has new Guarder gears too.

Then you have an airseal problem somewhere.  Is the hopup missing it's spring?

That might be the problem. You see, the stock ICS hop-up has crapped out on me twice, so I kind of glued it together half-hazardly and just put a spring I found in there to help the feeding problems. I have a new hop-up on the way. The problem is just that with weaker springs, I get speeds of over 360 and with a higher powered spring, I would assume, would give me an even higher feet per second reading, but it was slower than any other spring.

Not if the higher air pressure is pushing the chamber further from the nozzle.

So you're saying I should put a secondary spring in? And I'm using a G&P hop-up chamber in my ICS... the guy who I received it from modded it correctly and everything, yet it still doesn't feed unless I push on my magazines... any reason why that happens?

Sorry, but I didn't really know where to put this. Where can I find spare screws for the ICS Gearboxes? 2 of mine have already worn out to the point where you can't screw/unscrew them.

ARRRRGGGHH!!! Do you think these are really like specific screws or just the average screws you can find at home depot/lowes?

Probably metric. Go to home depot, bring a screw with you. Find out the size and pitch of the screw, then go online to mcmastercarr and order the correct sized screws.

Bzzzt.  Wrong answer, try again.

I've been trying to find replacement screws for a long time.  I have yet to find them.  Or stock adapter screws.

And how would I go about fixing this? It could just be the aftermarket hop-up being retarded with my mags.

So they're not metric?

I had this same problem with the screws on my upper gearbox. I went to my local hobbytownusa store and picked up a bag of hex screws which were a perfect fit. Now I'm not sure if these screws will fit the lower gearbox but they might be the same. If they're not, the store a many more sizes which would probably fit.

pics:

I found some online and these might be the right ones:

So far they've been holding up well, no stripping because of the hex heads.

Hope this helped!

That's two screws, what about the top ones?  Those are the ones that usually strip out.

Metric, pitch should be the same, I dont see them using a different tap for diffrent holes in the gearbox. Just the length will be shorter...

Nope.  They are different (smaller).  And unfortunately, those ones like to strip more.

I guess all I can do is get those hex screws for now since I do need some. If you don't mind, can you try the hex screws on the lower gb if you get the chance?
