Wayneard, thanks for posting that. I've seen it once before on LF, but haven't been able to find the post again since then.
In my Team GTI pic, in the loadout thread, you might notice the shoulder pockets. The pic quality is bad, so I'm going to try to get a better one. We're trying to make the most uniquely useful uniform possible, so we're stealing ideas from Crye, foreign designs, etc.
Right now we've moved the lower blouse pockets to the shoulder, slanted forward 45 degrees to ease of access. The're covered with a 6x4" section of Coyote Brown loop velcro for various morale/team patches. The lids have an inch of hook velcro that locks onto the outside of the shoulder pockets, with a small gap in the middle for ease of opening (lets you get a finger under the lid to yank it open). Where you normally place your nametapes, we put vecro instead, so you can move one set of tapes between your vest, helmet, shoulder, etc.
Boonie hat has a barrel-lock instead of the leather piece, makes it much more secure on the head.
Right now, I'm planning on tilting the upper blouse pockets inward, adding velcro lids, and installing a zipper on the outside edge (sorta like Crye's field uniform).
Can't really decide on trouser mods, esp. since we use Asian Tiger and it's harder to find any extra material to work with. Though I'd like shock cord blousing, and to get rid of the regular slash pockets.
