Well for one thing, You can DEFINITELY find a CA cheaper than what shorty is offering you.. and second, whats to risk in buying a G&G? I seldom hear problems about them and they are great... and ASGI is giving you one great deal.. Plus, you have a higher chance of getting a lemon from CA than G&G

I'd risk it and buy the G&G, like I said in another thread.

G&G's AEG's haven't been out for long, and their gearboxes are said to be not reliable, so I'd say don't get it, and stick w/ TM or CA.

First: find out what generation those gearboxes are (Gen3 might be okay, none of the others are usable).

If you were to risk a G&G -- the R5 is the only one that's actually a good value versus the WGC, ICS, and CA guns.

I'd at least look into the WGC Custom (G&P parts) guns, as they're very nice, durable, and reliable -- about the same cost (with shipping factored in), they run a wee bit more, BUT -- they have correct trademarks (not goofy G&G ones), come with a stiffer spring, and imho look nicer.

okay thanks guys the 2006 version is newer than the v3 because at airsoftgi they used to, and maybe still do, have the v3 GR-16 Carbine and A3

and i know i can find the ca guns much cheaper, but i was too lazy to go to anywhere other than shorty's

here i also found it at evike
