Need an estimate: how much is my Tanaka worth?

I'm trying to sell my tanaka, and I have no idea what a good asking price is for it. Please help me out. Here's a description and pictures:

Tanaka M24 Preban w/ ECHO1 Harris style bipod, camo paintjob, and spare long mag. No chipped paint or anything.







so can you guys give me an estimate as to how much I should get for this? I don't want to get ripped off selling it, but I also don't want to price it so high that I can never sell it.

P.S. If there is a different section I should be posting this, please notify me and I'll move the thread.

I think the $450 you were asking for is reasonable.  If someone is really looking for a quality high performance rifle they will be willing to spend this much. I wouldve but you know what happened already : )

That's alright.  Seriously though, if someone who is serious about sniping looks at this will they will most definitely want to buy it.  Considering how much a full set ready to go like that will cost ( PLUS a paintjob), this is sale is a steal.

Seems like a reasonable asking price. I know i'd buy it if i had the $.

You guys are acting as though the paintjob adds value, whereas in reality it detracts from the value.

If I were to buy it, I'd expect the sale price to reflect the time/effort it'll cost me to remove all that paint.

I guess it depends on the person, when a custom car gets painted you don't go well I dont like your paint job so please lower the price. Chances are you like it because of the paint Job. Plus it shouldnt take away from the price 2mins of sanding some tape and your own paint easy to do. I think the name speaks for its self. Good luck on selling it.

Yes, if you don't like the paintjob, you'll pay less for anything.

And if it takes you '2mins' to sand and paint a gun, I'll be sure not to ever buy a gun you've painted.

you could sell it for 475 and let them request a basic paint job (woodland, desert)

guys lets not turn this into a classifeds...


but i would say 425. as the paint job(even if its good(not saying urs isnt)paint jobs always will take down the value of any airsoft gun)
