I owned at Tokyo Marui Glock 17 & Glock 26 with propane and experienced no problems with them and I owned them for over a year.

well now that i looked at some different gases, do you think that this gun would be able to handle red gas, and how fast would it shoot with red gas?

NEVER EVER USE RED GAS IN ANY PLASTIC SLIDE GBB not only will it split the slide into two or more pieces but will also destroy the slide.

Uncomapny.com, Dentrinityshop.com, redwolfairsoft.com, airsoftglobal.com, wgcshop.com are all places that you could find a metal slide for the TM Glock 26.  You can get them in black, sliver or two-tone.

Should be able to find a slide for it pretty easy, all over the place.

You can use propane in it no problem, I've been doing it for quite awhile.

Make sure you add in some silicon every now and then otherwise the seals in the magazine will break and need to be replaced.

Stronger frame. LOL  Besides that you will need a Metal Slide, Upgraded blowback unit, Upgraded recoil and hammer spring and upgraded seals in your magazine.

Hope this helps.

I also use a Tokyo Marui G17. All i use in it is propane, works great. Has given me better preformance than some full metal slide pistols with red gas.

Before you get wrapped up in red gas try it out with propane, youll probably find that propane is more than sufficient

You'll find propane cheaper too, even if it's stinky...

If your going to use propane remember to lube your gun alot or the seals will dry out. If you can, try to get a propane adapter that has a silicon port so you can lube while filling your mag. Also remember that propane will be alot cheaper in the long run than having to order red or green gas.

I built a TM G26 to run red gas and it was a blast to shoot.

TM G26
Guarder Steel Slide and Barrel
Guarder Recoil Springs
PDI Piston
FireFly Guide Rod (stainless steel)
KM Hi Flow Valve

It was a lot of fun, with good kick.

What FPS did you get with your set up? Might be good for him to know about how much he might get with red.

I honestly don't remember.  I don't think I ever chrono'd it with red gas.  I just liked rocking red since it meant I could shoot an entire mag from a fill, otherwise the gun would only lock with about 11 or 12 shots in the mag.
