As I mentioned in the other thread, it looks like it's only giving half of the full blow back cycle, which should be corrected by firing it with BBs loaded. The BB helps seal the cylinder and transfer the redirected air into the blow back cylinder.
It's one of the nice features of the TT line. Your blowback changes noticably when you're out of ammo.
Looks great though!

I for one am highly interested in the progress of this technology. It adds everything I love about airsoft into one package.( realism and affordability) With any luck there are lot's of people out there that want these and are willing to buy them, because I'd like to see the system used in other non-ar platforms.
though I guess if all else fails I could attempt to fit one of those gearboxes in a m14 dmr body.....>.>

I noticed about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch in additional movement to the "bolt" when shooting with BBs. It was enough to move it back to show the hop-up adjuster but it really wasn't that much different.
FPS tests:
.20g = 342 fps average .25g = 305 fps average

A little lower FPS than anticipated, but still quite usable.
I like it. This may be on my short list soon!
Thanks for testing that out!

The other two unknowns to complete an analysis of this gun will be how much it is going to cost and how compatible it will be with upgrade parts. Stay tuned for a full review of this gun soon.

That blowback looks lovely. I'm not so worried about upgrade parts as I am upkeep; will having the blowback feature cause premature wear? It's definitely on my short list as well, especially since it's markedly cheaper than some of the GBB stuff I want.

The bottom line on this feature is that it isn't something that is going to change your game or make you a better player. What is is going to do though is further the sport and increase realism which is something this community thrives on. Seeing it in person is really impressive and it's kinda of a "duh" feature. Why didn't they have these to begin with? Based on the design, I am not concerned about increased wear and tear and I think time will show that this is a very durable feature that other manufactures find they have to put in their products.

Snicker, what's cool is that you can tell people that you have a short stroke piston airsoft M4 It's like the 416 of the airsoft world. And yes, why this wasn't thought of sooner is beyond me.

Question though. Why is a Delta unit patch (err, insignia) on the M4? Do they use the Top Tech TM4? I mean, I figured that prolly to seem more realistic, but I really hope that they have the Army's permission to use it. Looks amazing. Give it about 2 or 3 years and every AEG will have this incorporated in their weapon for the same price as a Echo 1.

i dont knwo if they really "need permission", i mean a couple companies use the USMC's EGA, and i doubt the USMC use their guns. Could be wrong though

Airsoft manufacturer doesn't care. It's just like TM and their trademarks on their M4s, M14s, etc...

Is it me, or is the blowback hardly existing? Does it have any effect? I guess i need to try myself The rest of the AEG looks good to me. I also can't wait for a HK416 model...

I was corrected by Booligan and G&G staff saying the system is designed to be completely sealed when shooting with BBs and that will get you the most blow back effect. It looks really good in person.

That gun looks like it runs efficiently with the blowback. Blowback is a nice feature to have. One thing i don't like about the gun is that it has "made in taiwan" all over it. huh i didnt know that, i like having authorised trades authorized

I'm okay with it saying made in Taiwan all over it - G&G did a great job on the system, and they should be proud of where it's made.
I wonder how well it could drop into other V2 mechbox setups (still shopping around for which box will be on my Masada PTWS)

Does this blowback system produce an actual "kick" like TM's (i know it's not as much as the RS but it's still a kick) or is it just for show?

The reason why they have "mad in taiwan" is because ARMY's L85, they carbon copied everything, from the gun to the manual and package, by putting "made in taiwan" will prevent someone "photocopies" their product in the future, according to the owner of G&G.
