What do you guys mean by a Brick And Mortar store? I know it sounds nooby, is it like a mom and pop store?

local hobby shops,the asgi or evike walk in stores.

I usually order from U.S. online stores, ASGI, Evike, and Hitguns. I would go to a walk in store like G.I.'s or Evike's, however there are none located in my immediate area (only small stores with limited inventory). Wish I lived in California haha.

I got pretty much all of my airsoft gear from either ASGI and Evike.com. However, most of my gear and equipment came from a variety of sources including my uniforms mixed between both my Cadet issue and BDU.com, and my boots from a number of sources, including Vermont Army/Navy, and www.militaryboots.com with a few personal purchase items coming from a local surplus store across from the Texas A&M campus in College Station (primarily Sarge's).

My LBE and personal equipment come from a variety of sources including eBay (nearly all my ALICE stuff), Tactical Advantage, Vermont Army/Navy, Spec Ops Brand (love their MOLLE/ALICE compatible gear and packs), US Cav Supply, Ranger Joe's, California Army/Navy (and their eBay store), Alleghenny Wholesale (and their eBay store), and The Supply Captain with nearly everything being either US surplus or new Berry Compliant equipment. I don't use everything I buy from these retailers for airsoft, and use a great deal of it for field and camping equipment related to my geology work since I find a lot of military stuff now is cheaper and at times even more durable, rugged, and packs tighter than commercial stuff, a huge plus with me beyond simple familiarity.

I now only buy real steel gear and accessories. For example, flashlights, flash hiders, foregrips, various mounts, slings, etc etc. I am fed up with the poor quality of the airsoft equivalents. Of course there are some AS stuff that are an exception, but for the most part, I try to buy as much RS as possible.

I get most of my RS stuff from www.midwayusa.com

I usually shop from Evike, seeing as there are not really any airsoft shops here in Chicago. I bought some KWA Glocks from them a while back, a couple LPEG's, and now my newest AEG which I just ordered yesterday.

I buy all my good stuff online from the US. I got my AEG from the net and my gear (even though that can be bought at a military surplus store) online from evike. I actually at one point wanted to open my own airsoft shop but had no clue where to start. I wish I could boost the overall size of the airsoft world in this area of PA. Either way, online is definitely the way to go unless you're lucky enough to live right beside a walk-in location. I have a friend too that buys everything from overseas internet.

Online forums for me. Usually it's from my site's forum as it's cheaper and I know the previous owner so there shouldn't be any issues if I find problems with the gun

I would like to buy more items from a brick and morter store. I appreciate their efforts to build the industry and their knowledge regarding the local fields. Picking brains is also fun although you do end up with some odd ideas sometimes.

Just seems that when I am in one they don't have what I'm looking for (or not all of it). By the time I visit two or three stores, I have spent triple in gas what the shipping costs.

I buy most of my gear from a local shop, Patrol Base, but recently ordered my Galil SAR from UNCompany in Hong Kong 'cos nowhere in the UK had stock. I was a little unsure about ordering from abroad but I found a few good reviews so took a chance. The rifle arrived in the UK on time as promised but then got stuck in customs for about 10 days before finally clearing so all in all took about 2.5 weeks to arrive with me. In perfect condition and am very pleased with the service - just one tip for people contemplating using them - choose to pay a bit extra for shipping and get them to ship with UPS instead of EMS Speedpost. It should get through customs a lot quicker that way.

I been enjoying Airsplat recently cause of the free shipping and no tax. I live in CA so no tax is a deal breaker for us lol. Amazon is whatever for gear.
