Milsim/rec in the Tundra of Michigan.
« on: January 16, 2010, 08:07:11 PM »

Guts finally got out again today.

Charlotte Michigan, Armory Airsoft/Chaos Paintball

Cold, oh yeah.  Scenario was Chechnya rebels vs. U.S. Special Forces.  I, being part of the former, rocked my desert loadout.  Big field, various zones, including bunkers, trenchfield, city, and a lot of swamp.

Players:  I'm convinced you won't find a more lively group, nor as resilant to play no matter what.  Got to meet a lot of great players, including a squad of Russian Conscripts, decked out in overcoats and ak74's.

First scenario was nuke recovery.  I found the nuke 10 mins in, but since I only had one comarade with me, we couldn't move it.  Enemy team takes the area, we got lit up trying to hold for reinforcements.  More scenarios followed, but I mainly just stuck to running around with new friends.  Never confirmed a kill though.  Had a blast though.

There, I have clensed myself of chairsoftingness.  Also, I really need to get out more.

If you ever thought wintersoft was tough, try our way sometime.

sounds great. I'm in SE michigan too, and I would love to attend a game some time. I still haven't attended an organized scenario yet. only private games with friends. btw do you have to be 18+ years old to attend without an adult?

At most fields, you have to have parent cosign on waivers if under 18.  Some events are 18+ only.

Look up the michigan airsoft forums.

I was wondering if, as a 16 year old, I would be able to attend a feild without a parent, after a waiver is signed for the first time.

Depends on the field.  Most times you just print the waivers off and bring them signed.  Parents don't need to be in the field with you unless it is a field rule.
