What brand is that MP7? I assume it's not the Galaxy since it's $125... Please tell me it's JG or AGM... Tongue

Galaxy makes an MP7?

I'm pretty sure it's a rebrand of the TSD MP7, which is a rebrand of the WELL R4.

I'm pretty sure it's a rebrand of the TSD MP7, which is a rebrand of the WELL R4.

Or just a direct rebrand/contract run of the Well. No need to rebrand the middleman TSD Tongue

Umarex had previously sold the Well MP7 under the "Task Force" name, and I wouldn't be surprised if they just changed licensing on them once they picked up the H&K line. That being said, the Well MP7 is pretty dang nice, so this is all a good thing.

What I'm waiting for is the OTHER H&K licensed guns made by G&G, VFC, Ares, etc to hit the shelves in big numbers.

I'd be nice if they did the TSD because TSD does some quality control that I don't trust any clone company to have. That said I hear very little bad about either one. I might get this if I can mod the AEP charger to plug into my lipo/nimh smart charger by cutting off plug and adding a tamiya connector....hmm. I just might do that!

Umarex QC is great as is to be honest, anything coming through their doors will be good, and if it's not, they back their stuff up. As far as modding  the AEP charger, that's relatively simple. Like you said, just add a tamiya plug onto the wire going into the AEP battery charging "bay".

I'm replacing my WE CO2 P14-45 with a KWA MKI PTP 1911 when it comes out, if it's cheap enough I might really have to consider one of these as a winter sidearm. It gets too cold for even NS2 here in PA quite often.

The MP7 battery will not do well in very cold temps. They don't even turn over the gun here in Utah from October - March Tongue

If you want to run this gun in cold winter temps, converting it over to a low voltage lipo is a good solution.

I run Zippy 7.4v lipos in my AEGs, but they are the size of mini 8.4v nimh packs. I suppose I could find a really, really small one for this.

I used a 7.4v 900Mah lipo hellacopter battery.Split the old battery cover, removed the old cells and slipped the lipo in there. just reuse the original battery connector. lasts days, not just a game or two.
