Thanks! The Cyma really doesn't compare to the TM in terms of build quality, but it's a killer little pistol for the $50-60 you generally see them go for. I was going to go for a silver/black paintjob, but I felt this would be a little less generic.

its deffinately not generic thats for sure... It looks great!!! in my opinion silver accent on the textured part of the grip would look pretty cool on it ant complete the look.

@Kev

I don't really like that green too much -- looks a bit bluish. Take a picture of it outside/where you would be using it -- that way we can see how it blends in the environment.

Also, you might consider having a couple of more defined areas -- to blend properly, you want it to look less like a different-colored gun (which it will look like at a distance), and more like shapes that morph into the background; break up the outline. If camouflage lacks a macro-pattern, it loses much of its effectiveness.

Kev, I'm sorry, but your gun is not painted well at all.

I suggest either removing the paint or fully coating it in tan, and attempting what MarineSGT did with his M4.

By the way, is that a G&G M4 you have?

This is my first paintjob on my only gun. I tried to make it look pretty but just ended up f***ing it up, so i got mad and took a sander to it while the paint was still semi-wet. The result is what happens when you take four layers of paint, use friction and heat to fuse them together, and then sand it down some more with two sheets of sandpaper.

I've been told it looks like wood, and I can definitely see what they mean. The texture is actually quite smooth and comfortable, a nice medium between slickness and grippines (I used textured white paint, black satin, orange gloss, and a couple layers of matte finish. I really don't know why). I used an orange paint-pen for the text.

In the end, it's really not ideal for stealth, but I wound up really liking the way it looks and feels.

HAHAhA thats almost exactly what i did with a vsr10 like 2 days ago! eccpt i sanded it all the way down. (its not mine or i would have left it like that.) I love it. or at least all of it eccpt the writing. everything else on it is pretty cool. its got an antler/animal hide look to it. i think in certain environments ittl be pretty camoflaged as well

I was a little more focused on shooting people than taking pictures, but you get the idea.

^Little too much tan IMO. I'd paint the delta ring or the rails on the hand guard and maybe the stock hardware, but otherwise looks good.

Actually Boolie, I think it would look good if you painted just the EBR foregrip tan.
