T-Cube RIS mount now available for Motion Tracker
« on: July 09, 2010, 01:39:15 AM »

T-Cube has released the fully adjustable ambidextrous RIS mount for their Motion Tracker device.  Install this onto any rifle with an RIS foregrip and you're in business!

If i had a small fourtune to buy the trackers for myself and team then i would deffinately invest in this mount. Theyre cool and all but for a little more money you can buy a garmin Rhino, Which dosent have any range limit on it at all and it functions as a raido as well.

I'm pretty sure Rhinos are limited by their radio range for tracking each other.  The GPS will work anywhere with a clear view of the sky but it then sends it's location information over radio waves to the other units... one Rhino in New York won't be able to get a fix on one in LA.  But yes I think those are a much better investment since it's more accurate and will have more uses in and outside of airsoft games.

While I don't think that RIS mounting things like that is really the best way to do things it does add some cool factor.  Are there other options (airsoft or RS) for mounting GPS units and the like?

you could always make one out of something like a camera tripod mount and scope rings it souldnt be that difficult. you can rig stuff up with zip ties and e-tape as well.

Anything is possible with the Barney Bag ;)
I mean it's like people taping their pressure grip or even tact. lights on their hand guard. It's possible but probably wouldn't be as nice looking .
