First Impressions: I received the gun from Airsoft panda (don't order from there) about two weeks after i ordered it. The gun came with the usual packing paper wrapped around the gun box and my KTW flintlock was bound to the Mosin box with bubble and cling wrap. When i got it opened i was dismayed to see no manual, and that the bolt was in the vertical position and the safety had jammed badly onto the receiver, took a lot of force to Get it unjammed. When i did, the rotating Safety's spring and ball bearing popped off (its a very similar mechanism to the back of the bolt on a BAR-10). The furniture is made from very dull wood, no glossy finish here folks. The barrel bands are made of brass and are glued on unfortunately, one of mine popped of during shipping. The free bayonet and leather/linen sling are nice freebies, however the sling is made for a 10 year old, you can only use it to carry it on your shoulder behind you.
Externals: Dull, plain, and unexciting, matches real steel perfectly. Detailed pictures to follow.
Performance: On a scale of 1-10, id give it about a 4 and that's being generous. The Gun is flawed with a screw that is not threaded enough and cannot securely tighten on the safety mechanism, so in as little as 5 shots, you have to re-tighten it again or risk the ball bearing and spring popping out. I haven't adjusted what i think is the hop up yet, so the shots are very inconsistent and drop even at the 25ft mark. Im sure this will improve when i dial in the hop up. The velocity does not seem to be the advertised 375 FPS, but who knows, next time i hit GF airsoft arena ill get it chrono'd and post the results. The bolt handle and everything forward of the safety is very solidly constructed, which makes cocking the gun an arduous task. After about 50 shots, my shoulder and where i gripped the bolt in my hand are killing me. The trigger pull is VERY heavy, heavy enough to throw off a snipers shot. The reloading mechanism is almost impossible to operate with gloves on and while in a skirmish, unless you are out of range of your enemy. Overall, i would say the rifle I received in its condition, without modification of the bolt assembly to make it more stable, is unskirmishable, and is mediocre as a target rifle.
Overall: I bought this gun because i wanted a mosin nagant that i could skirmish with on the weekends and occasionally plink in the backyard with. The gun is only 1/4 able to fulfill those goals, but its a very interesting gun to have, and i dont regret the purchase. Im sure with modification, the gun will do much better, and when such Improvements are made, i will edit this very biased review. For the 400+ price tag with HK shipping, i would try to make a custom one from a VSR clone, as you would have a much better performing, and more pristine model that you would be proud to call your own.

Edit: It shoots around 330-340 FPS with .25's
