Killzone 3 beta
« on: February 05, 2011, 11:39:30 PM »

Been playing it for awhile now.  It's a blast, especially when you get friends together.  In my case, my cousin teams up with me.  Since the guy has been a marksmen since killzone 1, lets just say no one gets past him easily, lol.

Some things I've noticed.

1. Everyone either runs around as a medic for the drone yet do not heal, a engineer that never builds turrets/fix stuff, or my favorite, whole entire teams of infiltrators. :P
2. The unlock system sucks, in the means that I miss having a regular class with our favorite Helghan assault rifle of doom.
3. The infiltrator be cursed, hated, and hunted till the game release.  It's already been talked about getting the nerf stick.
4. Being a expert tactician = my version of said nerf stick, lol.
5. Watching my cousin take top rank constantly for several matches = priceless.

Agreed a lot of fun, one think that I was hoping it would really have was the squad spawn system of KZ2 (and BC2) just makes it much easier to keep a squad together. Agreed with the useless medic and as an engineer I find the turrets pretty useless, although they are not upgraded all the way they still dont seem to do much, except get shot and explode.  But still a great game though the infiltrators and their shotguns are overpowered, but still with a little tweaking and the addition of a squad spawns system it will be pure gold IMO.

Only played killzone 1....multiplayer wasn't anything to brag about...but from the sounds of it, this seems like a less cartoonish Team Fortress multiplayer?

Well, Team fortress pretty much set all games with classes.  Killzone just manages to make a decent multiplayer that isn't all about the kills.
