Realistic field stripping? So is it a VFC copy? Who is the OEM?

Looks really great. Cheaper than I thought they would be.

It would be nice if the actual flash hider was there. I don't like the one they are using.

Interesting...so this is a VFC clone. I could have sworn that it was going to be a CA clone...

Anyways, it's priced at roughly ~260, which is about the same price as the A&K Masada. Hopefully the quality between the two will be comparable (I'm talking about the quality of externals). What I'm really wondering about is the price of magazines. If this is compatible with VFC Mags, we can only pray that the price of those mags will drop from their ridiculous levels down to some more affordable ones.

0o0o, Echo 1 SCARs without the wire hanging out. I hope the stock won't be flimsy like my Dboys because I'm tired of buying new stocks or modding the broken ones.

Im not really a big fan of H style simply because the thought of 5.56 is so much more appealing to me i guess. The SCAR-L just looks way cooler too. Im also very curious to see how these compare to VFC's.

I'm sure most military people would probably prefer a 7.62 over a 5.56 for stopping power, thus why FN, among other companies, were asked to design a 7.62 weapon platform for the military. But, this is airsoft, and it doesn't matter what type of ammunition the mag may hold in reality, they all shoot 6mm or 8mm when it comes to airsoft.

right, i understand this but thats why i stated that it was mostly looks that make the L type a preffered platform for me not to mention i have a ridiculous amount of 5.56 style mags already so i wouldn't have to buy mags for the gun if i decided to get it. I'm also very aware of the caliber of a bb

I wonder if I could get one of these and switch the lower out with a 5.56 styled one.

Sorry. Didn't mean to sound condescending. And yes, presumably it would be easier to use a SCAR-L platform if you already have a large cache of M4/M16 mags lying around, rather than buying a new set of SCAR-H mags. ASGI had a recent video showing off a large variety of Armalite Mag-based platforms (ACR, XCR, PDW, SCAR, etc) for those who own alot of M4/M16 mags and wanted a different choice aesthetically.

No worries, i apologize for being aggresive about it, misunderstanding is all. It really is a very nice platform externally though. Im still curious to see what the performance of the internals will be, Echo 1 hasn't let me down yet...
