I'd hate to do this (making sort of a duplicate post), but I'm not sure that I can add a poll to an existing thread, but I want this to stay as clean as possible.
I want to get your guys' opinion on the matter, as there are a few designs that are currently in the running. I'll pursue them all eventually, but this is going to be the one I focus on for the time being. I used a quarter ellipse-type shape for the front so the bb is accelerated more slowly at the beginning and to reduce slippage.Directions: Post which one you want me to try first (option 1 or option two) and why. Somewhat modified drop in G-hop design (hopefully). It creates an flat area for the bb. Single point contact should theoretically reduce sidespin, and a flexible arm should reduce slippage
Self-centering, extended concave design. I'm unsure if this will work correctly, and the flexibility of the arm may be an issue. The concave begins at a larger radius and reduces to a 6mm radius arc, hopefully guiding the bb to the center and removing sidespin
