All in all a really nice rifle, especially when you drop in the Gen 3 Magnum Upgrade Kit. I use a Barska 4-16 x 50 scope, and a Harris-type bipod with a weaver rail adapter. The original UTG bipod that came with it was too tall and too sharp to sling the rifle comfortably. On calm days (little or no crosswind) I've managed to centerpunch the letters out of Dunkin' Donuts boxes at about 100 feet. The upgrade kit includes a reinforced trigger assembly (more specifically the post that holds the main spring in place during cocking), reinforced bolt handle, upgraded piston assembly, Gen 3 hop-up assembly, and precision brass tightbore barrel. This increases the FPS up to 425 fps with a KSC .2G biodegradable BB, and the range out to 200 feet or better. |
