Sgt. Glock's Camouflage Stencil Review:
Disclaimer: The following is the work of Sgt. Glock, and should not be attributed to me (The Crimson Falcon). I'm posting this up since it deserves publication, and was requested to do so by the mods. Without further ado, let's get to the stencils!
These stencils are made to work with the painting guide DJMikeOz so kindly put together:
http://www.airsoftretreat.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=72
In his "how to" one of the methods he used was to make a stencil to paint camo schemes on your gun. All the schemes in this topic are based on real military camouflage schemes.
Well, here are the first three camouflage stencils I have completed. Don’t worry, there are many more on the way!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U.S. Marine Digital Camouflage
This scheme should start with a flat black primer coat, so lay that down.

Next, Cut out the colored sections in this stencil and spray some khaki down.

After that’s dried, do the same with this stencil, but lay down some O.D. instead

Your final project should have a scheme close to or similar to this:

Your not limited to the "Woodland" camouflage scheme, you can use any colors you want to make any scheme. Here are the three current "Marine Digital Camouflage" schemes for color reference.

Vietnam Tiger Stripe Camouflage
This scheme should start with a flat black primer coat, so lay that down.

Next, Cut out the colored sections in this stencil and spray some O.D. down.

After that’s dried, your going to need some brown accents. Here are a couple accents I created. Feel free to create your own:

Here are the actual sized individuals:

Now that the O.D. has dried, cut out the colored parts of your stencils and spray some brown. Spray these stencils at random inside the O.D. green sections of the piece.
Your final project should have a scheme close to or similar to this:

Again, your not limited to one color scheme, mix it up and have some fun!

Bristish DPM Camouflage
This scheme should start with a light vegitation green primer coat, so lay that down.

Next, cut out the colored sections in this stencil and spray some brown.

Let that dry then do the same with this stencil but lay down some O.D.

When thats all well and good, you need some final black accents. Cut these out and spray some flat black up.

Your final project should have a scheme close to or similar to this:

Again, your not limited to one color scheme, its your gun. Color it up:

Swedish Camouflage
This scheme should start with a "Light O.D. Green" primer coat, so lay that down.

Next, Cut out the colored sections in this stencil and spray some O.D. down.

After that’s dried, do the same with this stencil, but lay down some Khaki instead.

When thats all well and good, you need some final black accents. Cut these out and spray some flat black up.

Your final project should have a scheme close to or similar to this:

Again, your not limited to one color scheme, its your gun. Choose YOUR scheme.

U.S. DCU Camouflage
This scheme should start with a "Light Sandy Tan" primer coat, so lay that down.

Next, Cut out the colored sections in this stencil and spray some Khaki down.

When thats all well and good, you need some final Brown accents. Cut these out and spray some Dark Brown up.

Your final project should have a scheme close to or similar to this:

This time, however; you are limited. Its a desert pattern, which means desert colors.

Australia AUSCAM Camouflage
This scheme should start with a light vegitation green primer coat, so lay that down.

Next, Cut out the colored sections in this stencil and spray some O.D. down.

Let that dry then do the same with this stencil but lay down some light brown.

After that’s dried, do the same with this stencil, but lay down some Brown instead.

When thats all well and good, you need some final Dark Brown accents. Cut these out and spray some Dark Brown up.

Your final project should have a scheme close to or similar to this:

Your not limited to just this one color scheme. Here are some other possibilities:

Enjoy!!!
More on the way!
