Description: New code, eh?

Well lets hop right to it then, shall we?
I ordered my UTG MP5 from evike.com (www.evike.com) I ordered it with a bag of Excel bio-degradeable BB's and a star realcap. Tracking information was provided and it came within 6 days of purchase. Not fast, but not delayed either. Evike answered my questions about the gun promptly, and professionally. I highly recommend them.
Whats all in the box:
http://66.225.199.100/AJ/box.jpg
The gun (obviously) sliding and full stock, battery, charger, 3 pt sling with one full stock sling mount and two multi point sling mounts, 2 Hi-Cap Mags, one full, one MP5k style, a dual weaver rail, extra screw for the weaver rail, two different size allen wrenches (for what?) and a clearing/cleaning rod.
Magazines:
http://66.225.199.100/AJ/hicap.jpg
The two hicaps are two mags clamped together with one end having mock 9mm bullets in it, the other end goes into the mag well. The mags are the biggest question on this gun, and lots of things are confirmed. They DO wiggle in the mag-well, but work just fine. You have to wind it every 30 BB's or so, rendering full auto pretty pointless. Like all hi-caps, it won't feed the last 15 or so BB's in the mag. Moving on. I also got a standard cap STAR mag, it was nice because Evike had a deal, everything over 100 dollars had free shipping, so what did I do? Got a 8 dollar mag and saved 3 bucks on shipping. Plus the mag is nice.
Stocks:

http://66.225.199.100/AJ/fullstock.jpg
The highlight on this gun is you can choose between the A4 full stock and the A5 sliding stock. I prefer the full stock, as it is about 1 inch longer then the sliding stock, plus the sliding stock is a little wobbly all the way out. Swapping the stocks is easy, and painless. Just don't loose the two little pieces that lock the sliding stock at its 3 locking points. I swap them a lot for fun, so I keep them in a plastic baggy. Both stocks feel good though, I just like the full stock better.

You can see the weight in the back of the full stock, which is the size of a full size battery (the original is a mini) and converting it will take only 1 thing, an adaptor for mini to normal size connectors. The reason?

unlike some other reviews, the wire is right in the back, easy access if you want to put a battery in there, however I still recommend that you get a wire extention. That way you can charge your battery without pulling the entire stock apart. But it would work.

Battery, Charger, Rail and Clearing rod:

http://66.225.199.100/AJ/rail.jpg
This has got to be the biggest surprise of the gun, the battery is a Ni-Mh battery. Thats right gents, no memory effect. However, you can't keep it charged for more then 10 days, as it looses about 10 percent of its charge a day. The charger is a no name charger, but does its job. Mini connectors everybody, mini's. The rail feels like di-cast metal, or something of the likes, but it is sturdy. The clearing/cleaning rod does its job, nuff said.

Sling:

http://66.225.199.100/AJ/3ptongun.jpg
This is another strong point of the UTG MP5. It comes with a 3 point tactical sling. I'm not sure what other people got, but I got a very high-end sling, its got rubber woven into the sling in two parallel rows down the sling. Its sorta technical to hook up and set up, but it works great. I can honestly say that if I had a real steel H&K MP5, I'd trust this sling with it.
General overview:
This is essentially an overview of the hopup and battery compartment.
http://66.225.199.100/AJ/battcomp.jpg
Getting the battery into the front handguard is an adventure that you get to figure out for yourself. Basicly, the easiest way for me to get the battery in is by sliding it in backwards with the wires pointing towards the trigger and stock, and then find a creative place for the wires.
http://66.225.199.100/AJ/hopup.jpg
The hopup unit works great, I can hit stuff at about 120+ feet with little wind, hitting a can 7/10 times on semi. What is said is correct, its very easy to bump it while putting the handguard on. But I don't see the problem in adjusting the hopup every time you go out to play.

Power:
Well I can put a hole in the side of a pop can, so I'd say about ~290 FPS. I can puncture a can up to around 20 feet. Its enough to convince my little brother not to play with me, even though he'd have a Super 9 and a pistol.
ROF:
on a charged battery, its fearsome. I'd say around 20 RPS, but I'm only comparing it to a ramping dye matrix. In one second (timed by a stopwatch) I count the same amount of BB's/paintballs on the target/fence. (ranging from 19-20) but it does decay after about 2 hi-caps worth of BB's.

Conclusion:
I'd say it was a good purchase, for 120 dollars including mag, BB's and shipping, it was a good buy. I haven't experienced any of the problems that other people have with V2's, (I might have gotten a V3 though, it wasnt specified) the selector switch clicks fine, the mags feed fine, and everything else works great. Remember though, don't upgrade to anything more then an M100 spring without upgrading everything else in the gearbox. (everything that applies, at least.)

Pros: RELIABILITY, price, versatility
Cons: hard to rear wire, all plastic

This is a tremendous MPEG. As a matter of fact, I'd call it an AEG. There are several key features of this package that make it an awesome deal:
1) Battery and charger are included (as with most MPEG's)
2) Full-stock and retractable stock are included
3) (2) hi-cap mags (the Mauri double-stack style)
4) The wiring is 18awg (for those of you that don't know, that's a good thing. Most CA and TM AEG's have 14awg or 16awg. BIG difference)
5) Comes with a scope mount

Now, I was very impressed with this particular item, due to having an obsession with MP series AEG's. When skirmished, it fired just as far as the TM MP5 and actually had a higher rate of fire due to having a BETTER motor and low resistance wiring. There were two issues with it, however: 1) the spring guide is not the best, and broke, and 2) the bushings are plastic (as in most MPEG's). These are easy fixes, if needed to be fixed. The major point is this, I put nearly 35,000 rds. through mine, AND NEVER DID ANY TUNE UP's!! I don't know if you think that's low or not, but I've tuned my ICS MP5 twice, and there's been 20,000rds. through it.
The internals of this gun are rock solid. If you want, you could buy this and upgrade nearly everything for less than a Tokyo Marui. I kept mine stock and, other than a little spring wear after 35,000rds, had no problems. After it finally died, I open the gearbox to see how much damage had been done...it looked MINT! Great gun, great price.
