Introduction:
Ah yes, the age old problem: If I have two rifles, how can I carry both at the same time? The answer everyone has been given is either "get rid of one" or "get a good sling". Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I have had trouble finding the perfect sling. Oh sure, there are plenty of good slings out there, but none of them have solved every problem I have had with slings. Well gentlemen (and some ladies, I'm not forgetting about you here), I believe I have found an answer to most, if not all, your slinging problems.
Ordering:
At the recent Sports Show (in Milwaukee), I was searching for a good hard case for my real rifles. I happened upon the Slogan Outdoors stand and their slings. The representative gave me a demonstration of the durability of the slings, and I decided to pick up the Ultraflex Rifle sling to test it out. The cost was 35 dollars, but if you order online at sloganoutdoors.com, you will have to pay an extra 8 dollars for shipping. Currently their rifle models are as follows:
-Ultraflex Rifle sling (good for light to moderate weight weapons, about 1 inch thick) $35
-Ultraflex Magnum sling (thicker and longer, better for a heavier person or weapon) $40
-Ultraflex Long Magnum tactical sling (a variation on the ever popular 1 pt sling) $40

Build quality:
The sling is made out of "High Tech Thermoplastic Rubber", which in my opinion, means that its great quality. The sling is very comfortable, the rubber is high strength and can stretch well, although it will retain its elasticity. The sling also comes with two sling swivels, which are a very nice addition, and are very sturdily built. To install the sling, you simply need to remove your old swivels and replace them with the sling's swivels.
***NOTE TO AR-15 USERS: This sling will not work on your guns unless you get adaptors which will convert the swivels into clamps for the sling points on the M16 rifle.***
The sling itself grips your body well, which I will discuss further in the function section of this review. It is also exceedingly comfortable to wear, and will not jiggle your gun around like some other slings do.

Function:
The sling can be worn in three ways:

Slung on the Shoulder

Double strapped across the chest

Slung across the shoulder
I personally prefer the slung on shoulder position. I can easily remove it from my shoulder then, and it isn't tight on my chest. The other positions are somewhat uncomfortable for me, and take a while to remove. Then again, I am a big guy (220), so it might work better for smaller people (around 150-ish)Your rifle will NOT jiggle around in any of these positions, it hasn't for me. Tightening the sling is somewhat more difficult than adjusting a sling made of a canvas-like material, but once it has been adjusted, it will stay there.
In the shooting position, the sling is very tight, and is thus very stiff into my shoulder. This is beneficial to anyone with a heavy rifle, as it will keep it tight into your shoudler. I have tried this sling on both a BAR-10 and Remington 870, weighing 3 lbs and 10 lbs respectively. Both were held tight to my shoulder, and I have great confidence in this sling for sniping purposes.

Field Testing:
The first time I used this sling was in a one-on-one match between me and a friend of mine. We both were armed with a sniper rifle and an M4 variant. I started in a very hilly area, and had to traverse about 100 yards before making contact. This sling worked great. Holding my M4 in a ready position against my shoulder, the stock rested perfectly on the sling, proving a very sturdy shooting position. When I had to pull back to a specific point in the field, the sling did move around somewhat, but not enough to worry me about my gun falling off my shoulder. When I got bogged down in a heavy drift and eventually became trapped, I put the sling into its shooting position and was able to keep the rifle much more steady than normal.
Pros:
Elastic construction
rarely moves around on shoulders
acts as rubber cushion when on shoulder
sling swivels are very sturdy
Cons:
relatively expensive (35-40)
difficult to adjust
difficult to remove when slung across chest
Conclusion:
If you have been looking for a good, sturdy sling to dedicate to your rifle, I believe this one will suit your needs. While it may be expensive, it is worth it, and will serve you well for a long time. I couldn't be happier with the construction, and while it may be a pain in some cases, overall it is very good.
